We absolutely love the setting, very relaxing.
rest, relaxation, fresh air, great beaches, great skiing and fun
My wife, 2 sons and I spent several days here and were very happy. Comfortable, clean and just as advertised. Very close to Northstar where we skied.
The unit had a minor mechanical problem (some inconvenience)...not untypical of any home. The owner responded quickly, was very polite, apologetic and professional. She took care of it and took care of us which we appreciated. Based on all of the above, we would definitely stay here again.
For the price & great service I rate it 5 stars.
We spent 10 days in Tahoe & chose this adorable townhome to stay. It had absolutely everything you could possibly need. The kitchen was well stocked with dishware, glasses, pans, utensils and even an array of spices. It also had a full size washer and dryer ! Detergent included. The living room area was very cozy and included a DVD player & tons of cable channels. The upstairs kids room was very charming with it's own bathroom/shower. Our daughter loved it. The downstairs master bed was very comfy and made for great sleeping. It's a 3 story townhome. So if you are okay with stairs...this is a great quiet and relaxing Tahoe retreat. The owner was really wonderful and open if you had any questions.
We have rented condos in Kingswood Village in the past, quite a few years ago. We live in another part of the country now, but made a return visit to Lake Tahoe this month, so decided to rent this condo. The owner was very personable and cooperative, and our dealings with her were very positive. The locale is perfect--only a couple of miles away from the lake, yet far enough that it was very peaceful and quiet sitting on either of the two decks on the property, looking into the forest. The pool was lovely, surrounded by forest trees, yet with enough space to have plenty of sun. We enjoyed the table tennis, etc. The only drawback might have been the lack of a hot tub, but we certainly weren't suffering for the lack of one. The condo was nicely furnished and clean. Would have appreciated some instructions on how to switch the tv to dvd mode, but it was not important enough to contact the owner, who was very accessible. We do like to cook, so there were a couple of missing items we would have liked to have had, such as a garlic press and a colander. We could easily spend a month in the condo and hated to leave it! I won't check the box for Age 55+ because the condo has 3 levels, and I know that some people that age and older are not able to manage so many stairs.
We had a wonderful stay at this Kingswood Village townhouse. The property is clean, comfortable and very cozy. We have stayed at two other townhomes in Kingswood Village in prior years and have liked this one the best and will return. It is a nice quiet end-unit with ample parking out front. The owner was very nice to deal with - prompt in responding to emails and seemed to really care that we had a good rental experience. The location is great - close to Safeway and the beach. The unit is perfect for a family of four. We will definitely return next summer!
My family and I had a wonderful stay. The place was clean, cozy, comfortable and in a great location. Plenty of parking right near the condo too. Owner was pleasant to deal with and responded to me promptly. Will stay here again! :)
We had a great stay in this townhouse. The unit was very clean and cozy. We especially liked that the kids had their own bathroom in the loft bedroom. We would definitely rent this townhouse again. The owner was easy to work with and seemed to genuinely care that we had a positive rental experience.
The location was perfect in that it was close to skiing, Safeway and the beach. I would definitely recommend renting this property.
