Welcome to SoMa Moscone House-- a bright, full floor, 3 bed/1.5 bath flat on a quiet block, in the heart of trendy SoMa. The flat was recently extensively remodeled with luxurious finishes. Relax in the heart of the City, where convenience meets comfort. SoMa Moscone House is located within walking distance to Moscone Center, the SF Museum of Modern Art, Yerba Buena Gardens & Center for the Arts, the Ferry Building on the Embarcadero and Giant's Stadium. Nearby shopping and entertainment includes Union Square, the Westfield Mall and the Metreon, which includes a large cineplex. The flat also enjoys lively nightlife, with many clubs, bars and restaurants. SoMa is also very conveniently located to the Bay Bridge.

The open floor plan features a large, combined kitchen, living room and dining room, which is perfect for accommodating group gatherings. Join your family and friends in lively conversation while preparing food and drinks. The Chef's kitchen features contemporary finishes. The dining area is flooded with light from the picture frame windows and adjoins the outdoor deck. The small deck overlooks the landscaped garden and includes a seating area for two, perfect for reading or relaxing after a long day.

There are three comfortable bedrooms. The master bedroom, features a king size bed and a desk for your convenience. The additional bedrooms feature queen sized beds and ample closet space. The large, luxurious bathroom features a deep bath tub and separate walk-in shower with multiple shower heads. There is also an additional half bathroom (with toilet and vanity). Most of the flat is off-street and quiet.

The living room has a full size sofa bed.

LOCATION DESCRIPTION

Neighborhood: South of Market (SOMA) is a large neighborhood, spanning from the Embarcadero to Eleventh Street, between Market and Townsend Streets. The neighborhood is home to technology/Internet companies, swanky nightspots, hotels, art spaces, loft apartments and furniture showrooms. The neighborhood has experienced rapid development and change over the past few decades.

Most of the action in SoMa can be found in three general areas: by South Park and the Giants baseball stadium (around 3rd & Townsend Streets), around the SF MoMa and Yerba Buena gardens (around 4th & Howard Streets), and in the nightclub district around Eleventh & Folsom Streets.

The area around Market and Third Street is more well heeled, influenced by the nearby Financial District and conventions at the Moscone Center. Several of the city's arts organizations are located here, including the SF MoMa, the Center for the Arts at Yerba Gardens, Contemporary Jewish Museum, Museum of the African Diaspora and the California Historical Society.

The Ferry Building at the end of Market Street houses wonderful artisan souvenirs and local gourmet treats. If you travel North of Market Street, you can easily venture to Union Square and downtown. The area is very flat (unusual for San Francisco), so it is easy for biking and walking.

Please note that Sixth Street (from Market Street to Folsom Street) can be sketchy, with a larger concentration of homelessness. It can be easily avoided by walking toward 5th Street.

PARKING SITUATION

There is no parking on the street. It is limited to 1 hour during the day amd there is NO parking allowed at night due to street cleanings. It is forbidden to park in front of driveways There is a rental car location very close to the unit on 821 Howard Street, between 4th & 5th Street.
