Fantastic, cozy getaway!
We (two parents, three adult children, and a toddler grandchild) had a wonderful time at this cottage! Although tiny, it's so well laid-out that we lacked for nothing. The fenced-in back yard features a grill, adirondack chairs, and a picnic table--the perfect place for quiet reading or a casual cookout. There's a small rocky beach within walking distance (and folding beach chairs provided with the cottage), while a larger sandy beach with lifeguards, concession stand, etc. is just about two miles away--a short drive. The cottage itself was impeccably clean, comfy, and decorated with just enough quirky originality that you felt you were in a home, not a hotel. Several restaurants are in walking distance, plenty more within a few miles, and both a produce market around the corner and a Wal-Mart supermarket down the road make eating in an easy option as well. Plus, the charming owner lives right next door and was quick to provide anything that we might miss. This delightful cottage is also an excellent value compared to most other properties we viewed, so we definitely hope to return!
Owner's Response: Yes, exactly right. My cottage is very clean, and although small, it uses space wisely. And in real estate, its location, location, location. Many places within walking distance and/or just a short ride away.
