I am British and moved to Albuquerque in 2002 to complete my pilot training. I immediately fell in love with the mountains, the scenery, the sunsets and the incredible views. I hope to succeed in sharing my love of New Mexico by making this property available for vacationers. I am also a realtor in case you are relocating and need some assistance.

Corrales is an exceptionally well preserved village, with an authentic atmosphere and a lot of history. The old church, cemetery and museum are close by and it seems like time stands still in this beautiful setting. In summer one can relax outside and listen to the cicadas and birds. In winter, it is still a calm and beautiful place with New Mexico's eternal blue skies and sunshine.

The property is historic and is composed of a house and an adjoining small intimate Casita ideal for a couple. Over 100 years old and is built in traditional adobe style. Ideal for family vacations and the Casita gives that extra privacy to your guests or parents-in law..

We enjoyed the home. well maintained inside and out. very easy to locate. nice quiet neighbors.
Convenient to all of Albuquerque and Santa Fe. great dining nearby. very close to the air balloon park if you are going for that. My wife has some handicap restrictions and this home was comfortable for her. we have recommended it to several friends who travel to Alb... Hannah and Nate's is a nearby place to eat breakfast.. best breakfast burrito anywhere!!

Corrales wedding

Three generations stayed in this lovely property for a wedding last month. We loved the fact that there were 2 separate "sitting" areas...we could gather together, or have privacy, as we wished. The 'old folks' stayed in the Casita, and enjoyed quiet time if they wished.
We hosted the rehearsal dinner, and found the kitchen and barbecue area adequate for preparation and serving about 30 guests. With the wrap-around porch and the bricked area, guests did not feel crowded at all.
The Internet availability (and a printer) made it easy to arrange our flight home.
We enjoyed the history of the area and the fantastic thunder and lightning on two nights. (thanks for arranging that)

Great stay in Corrales

We had a great stay. The house had lots of room and the casita was very nice also. The main house would be ideal for two couples that would like to have their own space at times. Each of the bedrooms had a nice living area outside the bedroom with the kitchen between the living areas. The kitchen is not the best if you want to do a lot of cooking. There is very little counter space and the refrigerator is in the laundry room behind the kitchen. Not the most convenient but wasn't bad for a couple days. The kitchen cabinets could use some additional shelves to help organize them a little better and to make room for guest's supplies.

The home seemed very well maintained. I would definitely recommend this house to others and would come back again.

We really liked the place. The indoor rounded arches and the furniture reminded us of a house out of a fairy tale. The surroundings are very calm , you can actually visit couple of historical places by walking a few steps. This place is a nice location to stay if you want to cover albuquerque and Santefe .Both locations close to Corrales. A big thankyou to the host
