Sink into the Tempur-Pedic mattress for a great night's sleep, then wake to walk to the hike and bike trail along Lake Ladybird. On the way back, stop to enjoy a great cup of joe at one of the many outstanding coffee shops and bistros. Lunch at acclaimed SoCo diners and restaurants or try a food trailer for an exciting change of pace!

This is a great place, no complaints at all. Very clean, comfortable, and cute! Great location, close to everything in SoCo. Wonderful, friendly hosts. Plenty of coffee - so nice not to have to buy our own. Thanks, Sheri and Elliott, for the awesome restaurant recommendations. Our favorites were Elizabeth Cafe, Enoteca, Barley Swine, and Uchi. We had a perfect weekend in Austin and hope to go back soon!

We absolutely loved staying in our vrbo - It was so much better than staying at a hotel - Our apartment was lovely and comfortable - Our hosts were funny and gracious and the location was perfect a short walk from wonderful South Congress but totally quiet! We will return every year!

Beautiful Bungalow!

This quaint cottage is perfectly situated near South Congress and all it offers, as well as being ashort drive to downtown Austin. We were able to enjoy having some friends and family over for a great dinner with a kitchen having everything you need. On top of the great location and kitchen, the appointments are top notch! Add to that great property owners who personally want to make your stay a great one...even delivering fresh oranges from the tree out in front!

Location, Location, Location

We stayed here for 5 nights in November and it was great. The place was close to almost everything that we wanted to see in Austin and if it wasn't the bus stop was 1 block away, easy to get to Downtown and other places of interest. We didn't use the kitchen facilities with the exception of the Keurig coffee maker in the morning which was very handy, and the fridge to keep our drinks cold. There are lots and I mean lots of places to eat and entertainment within easy walking distance of the place. Sheri and Elliot were great hosts, suggesting different places to eat (the BBQ place on 1st was awesome!). The bed was super comfy and having a washer/dryer in the unit was a plus. This was our second time visiting Austin and not our last, we will definitely be staying with Sheri and Elliot again.

Great place, great location, great deal

My husband and I recently stayed here with our dog and were delighted by the cottage and its proximity to so many good shops and restaurants in south Austin. The owners and the property manager were gracious, kind, and quick to respond to any questions, and they clearly take care of (and take pride in) this property. We appreciated their attention to what seem like small details but make all the difference (i.e. a wide variety of K-cups for the coffee maker, basic condiments and the like in the kitchen, a range of DVDs for viewing, etc.). We were happy to stay here and would gladly return. Thank you!
