Ocean front - Choice of very spacious open concep 1 bath sleeps 4 accomodations

The apartment was as stated, updated with a very comfortable king size bed, large flat screen TV and a well equipped kitchen. Unlike other places we have vacationed, the WiFi actually works here. The high speed connection was very convenient. The location is perfect. The town of Chelem has small groceries and restaurants. Beach is serene without crowds or vendors. It is quiet here but only 10 minutes to Progreso for any of your large grocery or shopping purchases. If you want to experience a larger city, Merida is only 30 minutes away. We had a wonderful time at the downtown Sunday market in Merida and we also went to the Yucatan state fair. The property is in a private gated property with room for your rental car and right on the ocean. The loft is at palm tree level which made our morning coffee on our private terrace a favorite ritual. The pool is beautiful and we felt like we had the estate to ourselves most of the time. Make sure to save some down time for a few days just relaxing poolside. I can’t say enough about the graciousness of our host. Rob drew maps for us, answered our endless questions and even helped us get some documents notarized through his attorney. We had a business situation at home that would have been very difficult to solve on our own. He was extremely helpful. We couldn’t have been happier with our choice and are looking forward to a return visit.
