Nestled in the picturesque City of Elkton in the Shenandoah Valley, this - 2023 renovated 102 year old home has two (2) Bedrooms and one and a half (1.5) Full bathroom with marble and porcelain - homestay offers the perfect getaway. Just 5 miles east and a 10 minute drive from The Farmhouse, you’ll find Skyline Drive, the Appalachian Trail, numerous hiking trailheads. There is exceptional nighttime stargazing from anywhere in the area.

The Winegard Farmhouse has a spacious Kitchen and Dining Room . This leads to a large Living Room with 11 Foot Ceilings with leather seating and a huge credenza with puzzles and games plus a 55” Smart Samsung T.V. The Kitchen is the heart of the 1st floor with a quaint and private cover side porch. The other side of the kitchen has an alcove / office with desk and monitor. Your stairs to the sunroom and sleeping quarters are also accessible from the kitchen. Your stackable washer/dryer is in a room accessible from the kitchen.

Public Access to the river via Riverside Park is less than a 5 minute drive to the Shenandoah River, with tubing, kayaking, lounging, and fishing. The house is situated between the Massanutten Resort and the Shenandoah National Park Swift Gap Run Entrance/Blue Ridge Parkway. Within 35 minutes are the beautiful Luray Caverns.
Within 25 minutes are the Dukes and James Madison University and Rocktown or Harrisonburg with many restaurants and breweries.
