Photos and Description of the Pruggern vacation cabin rental

Come and spend your vacation in one of our spacious huts. One of them was finished in 2004, the other one was finished in the spring of 2006. Located on a plateau, at 1200 m, and being comfortably furnished and large, they welcome 24 people. There is sauna, satellite TV and its own beer dispenser in the hut parlour or in one of the luxurious log huts, which are suitable for up to 12 people and have wellness area with sauna and whirlpool. All the huts have a comfortable Swedish oven, where you can set a fire. Pets are also welcome in our huts. In the hut for supplies you can buy fresh bread rolls, cigarettes, groceries and drinks, or you can also take a snack on the terrace. A beautiful swimming pool with a wonderful sunny terrace and a playground for children are also available. The huts can be reached by car, of course.

The huts are situated in the family friendly ski and hiking region Galsterbergalm, upwards from the village Pruggern, at 1200 m. They are located on a quiet, sunny, high plateau, with a wonderful view upon the mountains all around. You can reach the cabins by car, at any time of the year. Pruggern is located in the Ennstal (the valley of Enn), approx. 14 km from Schladming, and only 100 km from the festival city Salzburg. The ski region Galsterberg offers 20 km large, best prepared slopes and it is part of the ski paradise Dachstein-Tauern, which has 86 cable cars, lifts, and 152 km arranged ski starts. This region is also a member of the Sport world Amadé (1 ski pass for over 860 km of ski slopes, for 270 cable cars and ski lifts). From the house in Ennstal there are only 10 km to the ski paradise Dachstein-Tauern. The illuminated slope and the 7 km long natural toboggan run pass by the huts. There is a ski school 300 m in the direction of the valley.

Notes: The hut is completely built of wood. It is comfortable and very well equipped. On the first floor, there is a big hut parlour (ca. 35 m²) with lounge, fireplace, satellite TV, DVD and CD player and radio. The integrated, completely equipped kitchen has electric cooker, oven, refrigerator, dish washer, microwave oven, coffee machine, electric kettle and toaster. There is a beer dispenser in the parlour. You have access to the sunny terrace with lounge, barbecue and sunbathing couches. There are 2 bedrooms with 1 double bed each and extendable couch, bathroom with 2 showers, sauna, 1 WC. On the second floor, there are 4 bedrooms for 2 - 4 people, with 1 double bed each and extendable couch, 2 showers with WC. At request, we put high chair and cot at your disposal. There is Internet access in the supply hut.

Gut ausgestattet, super gemütlich, mit Wellness!

Wir sind mit Großfamilie (11 Personen inkl. Baby und Hund) angereist und hatten viel Spaß. Die Hütten sind super ausgestattet und gerade für den Winterurlaub sehr gemütlich. Direkt an den Hütten geht die Piste als auch die Rodelbahn vorbei, die zur Bergbahn führt. In der Versorgerhütte kann man das nötigste besorgen. Morgens kann man frische Brötchen bestellen! Sehr kinderfreundlich, Hunde sind auch willkommen, dürfen allerdings nicht frei herumlaufen! Die Hütte ist mit Auto erreichbar und trotzdem ab vom Schuß! Unsere Hütte war mit Sauna und Whirlpool ausgestattet - super Entspannung nach einem Wintertag im Freien! Abends wurde dann noch der Kaminofen angemacht!

Wir waren im August 2007 im Haus mit insgesamt 5 Familien (10 Erwachsene und 12 Kinder im Alter zwischen 11 Jahren und ein halbes Jahr). Es war ein toller Urlaub. Das Haus ist neu, gepflegt und sauber. Die hohen Erwartungen aufgrund der Beschreibung und der Fotos wurden erfüllt. Dieser Wanderurlaub mit den Kindern hat uns so gut gefallen, dass wir dieses Jahr erneut hinfahren werden und die Touren,die wir letztes Jahr nicht geschafft haben nachholen möchten.
