A year-round two storey cottage with terrace, garden, incredible mountain view is situated 70 meters close to the snow safe first-class skiing area “Dachstein West” (46 lifts & 140 km ski runs). Enjoy skiing, sledging, ice skating, horse slide riding, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing - walking, trekking, mountain biking on signed bike paths, uncountable hiking trails & climbing tours of all grades between spring/autumn directly in front of the door, or relax on terrace. You are close to diversified nature (canyon, waterfall, virgin forest), to all outdoor sports, child-friendly lakes, historical towns, places & cultural events. Relax afterwards by the fireside in this friendly house of (not treated) wood surrounded by mountains creating an atmosphere, that I can’t describe, you must feel it. In 50 km you reach World Heritage Site Salzburg & Salzkammergut with wonderful lakes, hot springs, historical places, castles & towns, ice caves, antique (salt-)mines. House can be reached by car.

Annaberg in Lammertal (valley) is approximately 50 km south of Mozart’s birthplace Salzburg in the midst of the snow safe skiing and hiking area Dachstein-West, with 46 lifts and nearly 140 km ski runs, signed mountain bike paths and uncountable hiking trails, climbing tours of all difficulty grades, child-friendly swimming lakes, hot springs-, natural- and experience-swimming baths and cosy huts to relax. Our house is at a height of 1000 m at Astauwinkel, surrounded by meadows, forests and an incredible mountain scenery, the so called Salzburg Dolomites, the Gosaukamm and Dachstein. The Salzburg Land attracts with manifold points of interest: Salzburg - the World Heritage Site itself, the Salzkammergut with wonderful lakes, historical places, castles and towns (Bad Ischl, Hallstatt, Hallein…) with ice caves, antique (salt-) mines (the Kelts), ravines, canyons, waterfalls,… in our village you will find a virgin forest, with huge trees, …– there is a lot of new to discover every day.

Hiking, walking, trekking: On all the mountains nearby you will find routes for climbers as well as for families, everywhere are mountain pastures with a wonderful prospect: The Dachstein glacier and the Gosau lake to his feet, the Postalm – the largest alp area of Austria (20min. by car with a wonderful view over lakes, mountains,...) you can walk or use the ski-lift to bring you higher, you walk alone or choose a guided walking-tour to the virgin forest with trees you normally do not find in the alps (its free for you with the guest card).

Swimming: In our beautiful lakes in drinking water quality.

Mountainbiking: Mountainbikers can choose between 20 routes (Dachsteinrunde (173 km, 4600 Hm), Salzburger Almentour (146 km, 4170 Hm), Edtalm- (24,6 km), Hornspitz- (21,7 km) und Kreslroute (17,5 km) of different difficulties, from these longer to safe and short distance routes for families with children.

Ski: Just click your skis on at the front door, go away and come back the same way. You do not need a car, not even for shopping! This popular family ski resort between Annaberg, Russbach, Zwieselalm and Gosau offers pure snow fun for every skier-fun, we are a wonderful freeride area, have more than 45 modern lifts, 140Km snow safe slopes and many traditional and modern restaurants, cosy alpine huts to rest and enjoy this unique landscape. Ski schools and ski rentals are in the village. Other well known ski resorts (Sportwelt Amade Flachau, Obertauern,...) are 20 - 30 minutes away and can be visited with only one ski-pass. Enjoy cross-country skiing, going by an horse sleigh or choose an illuminated toboggan run in Abtenau.

Golf: Numerous golf courses are in the region.

Und im Herbst ist es auch sehr schön

Wir waren 14 Tage in dem Ferienhaus. Es ist ein wunderschönes Haus mit allem was man braucht. Aber das steht ja unten schon alles geschrieben. Das ganze Dorf ist sehr schön und vor allem sauber. Das Gemeinschaftsschwimmbad wurde von uns täglich genutzt. Es hat einen wunderschönen Panoramaausblick in die Berge. Man liegt enspannt auf einer Sprudelliege und schaut durch die große Glasfront in die Berge. Gibt es was schöneres? Auch die Gegenstromanlage ist gut zu gebrauchen.
Bei schönem Wetter, was wir in 14 Tagen an 13 Tagen hatten kann man sehr schöne Ausflüge machen. Besonders gefallen hat mir die Großglockner Hochalpenstraße. Dort haben wir mit unserem Sohn und unserem Hund im Schnee getobt. Der Hund hat das erste Mal Schnee erlebt und war hin und weg. Auch schön ist das Freilichtmuseum, die Liechtensteinklamm, die Festung Hohenwerfen mit sehr schöner Greifvogelschau und natürlich Salzburg.
Bei Regen empfiehlt sich ein Shoppingtag im Europark in der Nähe. Ein riesiges Einkaufcenter mit allen Geschäften die man so braucht.
Im Haus liegen sehr viele Prospekte und Ausflugstips, dazu eine extra angelegte Mappe mit besonders schönen Sehenswürdigkeiten usw.Das hat der Vermieter sehr gut gelöst und hilft schnell bei der Auswahl.
Das Haus liegt so schön, das man immer wenn man aus dem Fenster guckt ein wunderschönes Bergpanorama sieht. Das Dorf ist sehr ruhig und sorgte damit bei uns für pure Erholung.

Wir waren ja wie gesagt mit Hund dort und auch das ist absolut kein Problem. Überhaupt war die ganze Abwicklung kein Problem. Wir wurden mit leckeren Mozartkugeln und einer Flasche Prosecco von der Hausverwalterin begrüßt. Nach einer genauen Erklärung der wichtigen Dinge verschwand sie wieder und überließ uns unserer Erholung.

Es ist einfach für jeden was dabei denke ich mal.

Wir werden sicherlich auch noch mal wieder kommen.

Perfekte Erholung

Wir waren eine knappe Woche im Ferienhaus, sehr gut und funktional
eingerichtet, alles gut durchdacht. grandioser Ausblick und guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen und Aktivitäten in der Region.
Logistik, Bäckerdienst etc. klappte alles prima, auch die Mögl. der
Schwimmbad- und Saunabenutzung ist nach langen Wanderungen
sehr angenehm.

Nicht nur für den Winter

Wir haben zwei Wochen Sommerurlaub in dem Haus verbracht. Die excellente Lage und eine gute Ausstattung des Hauses waren genaus so, wie wir gehofft hatten. Morgens kann man sogar auf der Terrase in der Sonne frühstücken. Ideal für Familien, da genügend Schlafzimmer vorhanden sind. Eine Waschmaschine und der Geschirrspüler erleichtern die tägliche Hausarbeit. Tagsüber und auch nachts ist es angenehm still im Feriendorf Dachstein West.

Sehr schönes Haus im ruhigen Skigebiet

Das Haus liegt in einem Feriendorf sehr günstig an der Piste. Innerhalb von 10-20 Minuten ist mit Ski ein größerer Gebiet erreichbar mit guten breiten Pisten. Es ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet, mit sonniger Terrasse, 3 Schlafzimmern, Kamin und großem Flür bzw. Skiraum. Die nächste Einkaufsmöglichkeit - spar - ist in 10-15 Minuten erreichbar.

Super Skiunterkunft für 7 Personen!

Für eine Gruppe von max. 7 Personen bzw. zwei Familien mit Kindern super Ausgangspunkt zum Skifahren.
Bei Anreise nach starkem Schneefall (z.B. spät abends) sind Schneeketten erforderlich! Tagsüber wird aber sehr gut geräumt.
Im Haus ist von Gesellschaftsspielen bis zu Werkzeug alles vorhanden und super in Schuss! Die Küche ist sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet! Sauna und Pool im Zentralgebäude sind nett, wenn auch am Wochenende etwas voll! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Skigebiet ist Abwechslungsreich und gut zu erreichen.

Kommen bestimmt mal wieder......
