The large, fully equipped kitchen with mountain views, makes it a pleasure to prepare any meal. The dining room is a perfect place to enjoy your meals as you gaze out the picturesque windows. The cabin sleeps 4 adults or one single family comfortably. For convenience purposes, there is a separate shower area from the large bathroom. During the fall and winter months, warm up by the wood burning fireplace as you get comfortable in the ever so cozy living room. No need to bring firewood, we provide that for you. In the summer, you can warm up on the large deck as you sit and enjoy the beautiful days anytime from sunrise to sunset. No phones, no T.V.; just peace and quiet in a secluded wooded environment. We've got lots of fun board games, playing cards and poker chips for your enjoyment.
The spring and summer weather offers wonderful opportunities for runners, cyclists, motorcycle riders, and hikers to enjoy the beautiful outdoors. You can catch the famous Pacific Crest Trail right outside your cabin door. Want to go fishing? Plan to spend some time at Cuyamaca Lake, where the fishing is great! Want to window shop and have a slice of a famous Julian Pie? Take an enjoyable car or motorcycle ride through the mountains to the historical town of Julian, CA. where you can stop and admire the amazing views of the Anza Borrego Desert on the way. Hikers, you can see the Pacific Ocean to the west on a clear day and the Anza Borrego Desert to the east... Photo opportunities for sure!
Want to spend some time at the cabin in the winter? Although our snowfall in the winter can be unpredictable, we can usually expect snow starting in late January or early February. If your lucky enough to have snow during your stay, you're in for a treat! No need to fight the traffic or for a parking space, just walk out your front door. Strap on those snow shoes and take a hike or bring your cross country skis for an awesome experience. Ready for sledding, who isn't? Always a good time with lots of laughs. Don't forget to take time to build the memorable snowman... No charge for the extra guest as long as he stays outside. :)
