This cabin, although simple, offers unbeatable qualities such as a welcoming presence, a clean and well-prepared home-like setting, modern styling, decor, and technology, and an absolutely gorgeous landscape. The photos do not fully describe the overflowing abundance of space, both inside the cabin and on the property, which creates a truly breathtaking and private experience. Great spot for snowmobiling, also. Upon our arrival, the inside had just been repainted which really gave the cabin a warm, refreshed appearance. All of this comes without sacrificing convenience; we made it to Holiday Valley to ski in around 20 minutes.
Of course, one's stay is not entirely about unique architectural and site features. At this cabin, you'll be fortunate enough to deal with very nice owners who genuinely care about making your stay an enjoyable one. The provided items were more than adequate, and all towels/linens were fresh and clean. Communication was a breeze both in planning the trip and coordinating our arrival and departure. In comparing this cabin to the more commercialized lodging near the city, I would use an analogy of the family owned small business vs the big-name corporation. The small business, like the owners of this cabin, are more sensitive to detail and treat you with personalized care.
I couldn't conjure up something negative to say about our stay if I had to. We fell in love with the cabin and its breathtaking scenery, are hoping to make it a routine visit, and would recommend it to anyone.
