Designer home 100 yards away from beach access to the most beautiful beach in South Carolina. Within walking distance to Isle of Palms Marina. Home built in 2008. Other features include: Gourmet kitchen, spectacular views from the rooftop deck, covered parking for several vehicles, private pool on the deck just off the main living area, and an elevator. This six bedroom home boasts top of the line decor and ample space throughout. Internet access. Gas grill. Linens included. Pets Welcome -$300 nonrefundable fee-1 pet per contract. No smoking. --LAYOUT-- Six bedrooms. Five of these with king beds and of those two have day beds. Sixth room with four single beds. All bedrooms with private bath. Two rooms with bath/jacuzzi. Gourmet kitchen with large granite island. Dining area seat 8 with additional seating for 7. Flat screen TV/DVD in living room. This is a Saturday to Saturday rental from June through August . 3 night minimum in off season

Near Charleston which is one of the most beautiful cities in the United States and has some of the best restaurants. The home is beautiful and the Isle of Palms has an amazing beach. The neighborhood is safe and friendly. Golf is nearby. IOP Recreation Center is just blocks away.

The house is the ultimate entertaining home. The large kitchen with adjoining family area and deck pool make staying off the beach for a day easy and relaxing.

PERFECT WAY TO CELEBRATE 30!

This house were perfection for what we needed- accommodation for a lot of people and proximity to the beach! While we had almost 20 people in the house, it never felt crowded. The rooms are spacious, which probably has to do with the high ceilings! Although the house is not directly on the beach, it is just a 2 minute walk away- and even quicker if you take the golf cart! The location is also convenient to the marina store for last minute supplies. The kitchen was the perfect size to accommodate so many people, as was the dining area. My favorite part of the house was definitely the crows nest! If we weren't on the beach, thats where we were the entire time. It's an ideal place to watch the sunset! I highly recommend this house for large groups- it's spacious but at the same time you get to have all the people you love under one roof!

A GREAT HOUSE WITH A FEW LUMPS

At first blush the house is top quality, but there were some issues that required calls to the maintenance company (and the ice maker issue was never completely resolved). The rooms were spacious and light and airy with the tall ceilings, and the beds were of acceptable comfort. Everyone loved having a private bath (with the exception of the twin bed room, and their bath was nice). There were enough areas for everyone to mingle or retreat as needed. The crows nest or rooftop was a favorite place to escape the noise, and the patio chairs were comfortable even though a few were worse for the wear. The second floor balcony was sparse without any furniture, and the balcony off the twin room was so small it seemed superfluous. I believe the house came with two separate gaming consoles, and there was a nice flat screen over the fireplace in the great room. The pool was great for playing and relaxing.

For a house with a 20 person capacity, the refrigerator/freezer/icemaker was the feature that everyone agreed to be insufficient; it was a double door deal so there were narrow shelves which made it difficult to accommodate groceries. Even after the ice maker was replaced it took about eight hours to make a tray or so of ice which left of us purchasing bags of ice for the sodas, iced tea, and blended adult drinks. There is a nice wet bar with a wine cooler, and a stand alone ice maker would be perfect there. The maintenance man said the freezer’s ice maker had repeatedly been an issue. The large gas range was more eye candy than functional; all five burners had two temperatures: on and off (which for a gas stove is really irritating and unexpected). We also had to have a towel rod and a door knob replaced on the first day, and although we mentioned the additional three of the five (in addition to the one that was replaced) atrium doors had alarmingly loose handles they were not replaced.

With so many cars it was difficult to juggle them as the two driveways were a car’s width, and the street was much too narrow to park on. The golf cart was an even better feature than the pool as we could cart our gear to the beach rather than lug it the few blocks on foot. The key to the main house also had a lockbox which really came in handy as we had about fourteen adults sharing three keys.

The house was a few blocks from a public access point, but as it was so far down the island it was never crowded. All of the tourist spots are within a 30 minute drive.

GREAT FAMILY GATHERING

We had three related families staying here and it couldn't have better suited our needs. Bedrooms are large and perfect for configuring sleeping arrangements as some of the kings having trundle beds and one room has four twins. Bathrooms are extra nice. Beach is two minutes away in one direction (we accessed at 42nd street) and marina one minute the other. Golf cart was very convenient for getting chairs and umbrellas to the beach and we also highly recommend renting bikes for riding on beach and through Wild Dunes. Only regret was that it didn't have one of those extendable dining tables. It seats 8 plus a game table seats 4, and island seats three, but we wished we didn't have to split up. We watched the meteor shower on the roof top deck and had a multi-generational dance party in the family room. Lots of charm.

GIRLS WEEKEND

A group of girlfriends and I recently stayed at this property for a beach weekend. The house was perfect for our trip. The house was clean and had everything that we needed. The bedrooms and bathrooms are very nice and spacious. The kitchen was awesome and was great for cooking meals for a large group of people. The house was a convenient and quick 5 minute walk to the beach. I would highly recommend this vacation rental to my friends and family and we hope to visit again soon!
