We love the easy beach access, just steps from our door and the feeling of being surrounded by sand. The water is the warmest on the Cape. The sand, soft and silvery, hence the name Silver Beach. There's a raft and lifeguards on the Association beach to the front of the house and a playground to the rear. The beach to the rear of the house is ours. We are are the last house on the street with unobstructed views of Wild Harbor and Buzzard's Bay. Summer sunsets are spectacular and we enjoy dinner and drinks on the deck. Behind the house is a tennis court and basketball court and playground. The Tea Room nearby is a small cantina selling ice cream and snacks with video games. The Silver Beach Association runs movies onn the tennis court on Sundays and Wednesdays. We enjoy walks along the beach to the Wild Harbor River at low tide to see the Osprey nests. Walk along Wild Harbor Road to Nyes Neck and its grand cottages. Mini golf, a new bike path to Woods Hole and at least 4 ice cream windows are a short drive away.
