'Almost Front Beach' is an amazing beach house that has so much to offer especially the unrestricted and beautiful view of the ocean. It is directly across the street from the Beach access and a block to the main area of Garden City Beach that includes the fishing pier (fishing, dancing, live music w/ arcades and food available), shops and restaurants.

The house is Professionally Decorated (more like a home than a beach rental) with an additional sitting area on the 2nd Floor. The house has 6 Bedrooms: 2 on 1st Floor (2 Queen, 1 Queen) and 4 on the 2nd Floor (1 King, 2 Queen, 2 Single, 1 Queen). There are 5 Televisions, 1 VCR, 3 DVD Players, 8 Ceiling Fans, Internet Access, Washer/Dryer, Refrigerator, Range/Oven, Microwave and a Private fenced Pool seeable from the front porch for viewing and supervising younger children. We also hve the house next door 'Almost Front Beach Too' Homeaway #994109.
About Owner

I own several beach homes in the area of various sizes and sites. I have designed and decorated them how I would like to enjoy a vacation home to rent. It is more like visiting someone's home, as my renters have often said to me. I will allow some pets with restrictions and with a pet fee depending upon size and breed. As you can tell from my photo, I am a animal lover.

Rarely does a second row house have a unrestricted view of the beach and ocean plus the beach access steps away. An additional plus is the block walk to the pier and to the local hotdog and food restaurants as well as beach stores, bike and kayak rentals. All this is great for teenagers.

Half of the rental rate is required to secure your reservation. The remaining balance, any fees and a refundable $500 security deposit is due 30 days prior to arrival. We accept cashiers checks and personal checks if a branch is located in Charleston, SC. Credit cards are accepted with a 2.9% fee.
Fees And Taxes Rates do not include 12% tax. Cleaning fee is included in 7 nights stay. Linen rental is $200. The non-refundable pet fee is determined by the breed and weight of your dog.

Wonderful vacation!

We stayed in this house with friends and had a wonderful time. The house was bigger than we expected and was very clean. We had 6 adults and 8 children in our group and there was plenty of room for everyone. The upstairs tv area was a great for the kids to watch movies. The location is perfect, just across from the beach on the corner, so it was easy to go back to the house if you forgot something or wanted to grab lunch. It was a short, easy walk to the Garden City Pier and restaurants, so you did not have to take your car and worry about parking. The kids loved the pool and it was great being able to bring our dog with us. We loved the porch, it was so relaxing sitting there watching the ocean. The owner and her staff were very nice and wonderful to work with. We will definitely rent from this owner again. We had a great time!

Plenty of Room and just infront of water

Just walk to or see the beach from in side the house. We were only 4 adults and 5 kids and all of them are under 10. so it was plenty of room. A free advise to owner is keep the place in full condition whether its off or on season. We see minor damages like microwave door, fridge door opener in broke condition when we got in. It was not a bid a deal keep the property in excellent condition (or as if new) all the times will be a plus for the owner and tenants in this business.

Overall we enjoyed the place and time and would like to go back!!

Family Reunion at the Beach

This place was the best. Real close to ocean and pier. Beach was just across the street and the pier was 1 block from home. The kids loved the pool. We had 6 adults and 5 kids. Plenty of room and sleeping accomodations were perfect. It was decorated just beautifully and plenty of seating for everyone. Very Clean and it had everything you could need.
We shall return for another visit real soon.

Great Location..............

We spent the month of January at this house and had a great time.....across the street from the beach and close to great restaurants.........the only complaint that we had is that the home could have been cleaner (Especially the Bathrooms)....but after a couple of hours of cleaning we had it looking good!!...I can`t help but thinking that there must have been a mix-up with the cleaning folks....because the home was just as we expected and very tastefully decorated....also the Owner and her staff were great to work with....wish the weather would have been a little better but in spite of that we still had a great time!!

Owner's Response: Our normal cleaning person was on vacation. We interviewed and checked references for the one we hired to replace her the weekend the above tenants arrived. Unfortunately they did not clean the house to our normal standards. We now have a wonderful and meticulous cleaning crew that is very dependable. We do our best to make our tenants happy and comfortable during their stay.
