You can take a walk to town for a burger or ice cream. It doesn't matter the time of year, there is always something to do.

My husband has always wanted a cottage. When he found this place he knew we had to have it. We call it his fourth child. I am a teacher and finally got up to see it in the summer and fell in love. It is so relaxing!! It's perfect for walking, reading, and getting away from it all.
Lewistion is two hours and forty minutes from Oakland County. As soon as we start to get antsy we are there!! Although it is a quiet and relaxing place, it is still only an hour from Traverse City and Mackinaw City. It is 40 minutes from Boyne Mountain and only a few minutes from Garland and Tree Tops. We love to relax but when we want to do something it is just a stones throw away.
This lakefront property is a quiet haven. If you like to walk, you can get to town for a Talley burger at the local resturant. The Lewistion Lodge is right on the water a boat ride or short drive away. If it rains you can go bowling to keep moving. Just a few minutes away is Tree Tops for skiing and sledding. Garland has great golf and cross country skiing. You can also get to Gaylord in 30 minutes to shop or catch a movie. If you want to venture out to see Michigan you are only an hour from Traverse City, Mackinaw City, and the Sand Dunes.
