The blending of a Mediterranean style villa with local Caribbean detailing has created an inviting and relaxing, private island retreat. The open floor plan and indoor and outdoor living areas allow guests to experience the best of the Caribbean... Warm sun, cool breezes, and the shooting stars at night.
There is a 16 foot high native stone wall provides complete privacy for guests in the pool and while sunbathing . The great room , patios , and en-suite bedrooms all experience the breathtaking ocean views.

Starstruck Day and Night"
My wife, teenage daughter with friend, and I spent a week at "Starstruck" for our first visit to St. John. The accommodations, view and privacy left nothing to be desired. The location lent itself to convenient downtown access for shopping and night life while also being a perfect launching point for excursions to the island's back-side. Lounging by the pool for an afternoon grilling, using the Jacuzzi for an aqua massage or taking in the untainted night sky from the stone patio or terrace very quickly became our regimen. ___
My sister's family and I traveled to St. John in March this year and rented the villa "Starstruck" from owner Jay Flanagan. The entire experience was easy and pleasant - both Jay and the local property manager, Denise, were as helpful as could be.
The house itself is perfect. It is situated high above Cruz Bay - but is easily located even at night. We were driving a rental vehicle (and you will need one for a stay in a villa on St John), and we had no issues getting in or out of the rather steep drive.
Our group was 4 adults, 2 teenaged girls and a 6 yr old boy. Every member of our group raved about the house. The balconies on both floors are perfect for groups where not everyone gets up or goes to bed at the same time, and the view off to the west is spectacular. We planned our whole days around being sure to be on the balcony at sunset - each day's sunset was new and different - and just unbelievably gorgeous.
The pool and hot tub were great, and as others have written, there are pool towels, beach towels, a cooler and snorkel equipment there for your use. Makes packing much much easier.
The kitchen is well equipped and nicer really than mine at home! Also, it was very nice that prior renters had left their "leftovers" in the pantry so there was some salt and pepper and other assorted things that one invariably forgets on the first grocery run of a vacation. We left out leftovers too in hopes that the next guests would make good use of them.
The furnishings are very nice and the house was spotless when we arrived. Denise met us at the dock when our ferry arrived and waited while we get our rental car - she then led us up to the villa and gave us a comprehensive tour. She was easily accessible throughout our trip and gave us good restaurant and shopping recommendations.
All in all, Starstruck was nothing short of perfect. I will make every effort to return there on future trips and I give both the villa and all the folks associated with it the highest rating available.
Amazing views, fully stocked, great size pool for St John, and a great location!
I will keep it short: Starstruck is excellent. It is a big, beautiful, well-appointed house that easily accommodated our group of 8 over New Years. The views from the terraces and bedrooms are jaw-dropping. It is an easy 10-minute drive to Cruz Bay. Jay (the owner) and Denise (the property manager) are responsive, and take a personal interest in making sure their guests have a good time.
Great house, awesome views . Conveniently located, yet private. Hot tub was a nice plus. Onsite representative was very helpful and knowledgeable. Kitchen was well stocked and had a great breeze. Pool was nice size but didn't get much chance to use it.
My husband and I just returned from our 6th trip to St. John, and are thrilled we picked a new house to stay in this year. We traveled in a group of 8, and Starstruck was the perfect size and layout for 2 couples and 4 singles with four equally laid-out queen bedrooms, each with the same view and an en suite bathroom that includes double sinks (no battling over the rooms, whatsoever). Our views from Starstruck were incredible -- we stood on the balconies in the evenings, looking out on Cruz Bay towards St. Thomas as the sun set in the distance. As we told the property manager, Denise, the photos online do not do Starstruck justice (the views are the best we've had in all of our years staying on St. John)! Starstruck has a big dining table and kitchen to accommodate a group of our size, a lovely private pool, a hot tub looking out over Cruz Bay, plenty of outdoor patio dining tables in the front and back of the house, and beach towels, chairs, and snorkel gear available for guest use. While our stays on St. John are usually seamless, we had a bit of a crisis one morning with our house's safe battery dying while all of our passports and money were trapped inside when we were supposed to be heading out on a BVI cruise. Denise answered our panicked calls at 6 in the morning and came through with a maintenance man who was able to get into the safe and retrieve our items before the morning was over. She even helped to rebook us on a private charter to the BVI the next day and covered the extra costs for our troubles. She was exceptional in her service and is an asset to the management of Starstruck. The owner, Jay, is also easily accessible, friendly, and a pleasure to coordinate with when we were planning our trip. We would stay here again in a heartbeat, and gladly recommend it to anyone looking for breathtaking views, proximity to Cruz Bay and the western beaches, and higher-end accommodations for a surprisingly affordable price. Thank you Denise and Jay for another memorable week on our favorite island!
We had a spectacular stay at Starstruck. The home layout and amenities are true to the listing and pictures online. We loved being close enough to Cruz Bay to get "in town" and yet feeling away from it all when we were at Starstruck. The home was immaculate when we arrived. The owner, Jay, was a pleasure to deal with as was his on island property manager Denise. The house is perfect for a family or several couples. We were there with our three college age children. We used the pool everyday and enjoyed beautiful sunsets from the back porch each evening. Everything we needed was at our fingertips. . . beach chairs, coolers, snorkel gear, and an incredibly well equipped kitchen. We would go back in a heart beat and rent from Jay any time.
