In the very heart of Avignon's historical centre, on the first floor of a 19th century building,

Les Augustins provides an extremely well appointed apartment (a small kitchen area,

a shower room, a bedroom…) for a high quality sojourn in the Papal city.

Exploring Avignon and Provence :

Whilst Avignon offers a great many points of interest, it is also an ideal base from which to discover the beauty sites of the area: Nîmes and the Maison Carrée, Arles and its arenas, Camargue and its beaches, the Luberon, the Alpilles…

The apartment is located within the city's ramparts, and therefore surrounded by all amenities and services you may require. Within a 100 metre radius there is a small supermarket and grocery store, a newspaper shop, an ATM machine, a launderette, a baker's, a restaurant, bicycles for rent…

You are also within 300m of the Provençal market and the car park of the Halles d’Avignon, the flower market, the second hand goods fair of Les Carmes (every Sunday)….

The Arts Cinema, l'Utopia, at the foot of the Popes' Palace, and the Ceccano Media centre are barely a five-minute stroll away.

Clean and well maintained apartment, recently done up warily and furnished in a medieval-rustical style giving an impression of living in former times. All necessary equipment. Lacking: a little washbasin at WC/shower. Quiet and proper environment. Situated in the very centre of the charming Old Town and thus very near to everything, including a supermarket and an excellent baker's shop. Friendly and very helpful French- and English-speaking owner - from arrival to departure. Lots of information folders about the town and the district.
We had a nice stay there.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing

We were lucky enough to rent this apartment during our stay in Avignon and our expectations were definitely exceeded. It is such a cute spot, with all the modern amentities we could have wanted. It was clean, well decorated, and provided us the right amount of space that we were looking for. It is located in a fantastic section of Avignon, so we felt like we were in the heart of things. I also can't say enough about the owners, who were great to work with and super helpful with all of my questions. Highly recommend!!!

Wonderful location and the most helpful and pleasant host. The apartment was perfect with everything you need. Wi fi was excellent. Rented a bike for our stay and peddled around town with no problem. Thanks again, Frederique!
