The Garden Time Cottage is located in the heart of Lancaster County Amish Country, just two short miles from the little village of Intercourse, and all the charm of the little shops, restaurants and attractions that it has to offer.

This little historical cottage has much more then proximity to tourist attractions to offer. It is on a beautiful farm set back from the road, surrounded by gorgeous flower gardens and next door to the main brick farmhouse. There is a little stream bubbling it way past the back of the house and by crossing the little bridge that spans the brook you come to a big pond with koi fish. There is also the orchard and the herb garden and the elderberry bushes to name a few of the botanical delights on this true gardeners paradise!

And don't forget the hot tun on the back deck! This new hot tub is perfect for time spent together! It is so romantic and secluded you will think that you are in another world! A world just for you!

The Garden Time Cottage is in the heart of Lancaster County Dutch Country. 15 minutes to outlet shopping, restaurants, live theater, and plenty of other things to do. There are the small Amish roadside stands selling fresh goodies in the summer, Amish buggy rides and all the scenic farm land to drive through. Hershey park is only a short 45 minutes away for fun for the whole family! Dutch Wonderland is 15 minutes away for a fun day for the younger kids.There are plenty of golf courses near by for the avid golfer. Strasburg Railroad for the train buffs and live theater as well. Lancaster County is an exciting destination for the whole family or the perfect getaway from everything to spend quality time with loved ones.

Romantic Paradise for Married Couples

Thank you Konny and Tom for allowing us the opportunity to stay at the Cottage. You do an excellent job. The soft music playing, the lighting, the hand hewn beams, the wide plank floors, and the Rose Petals leading to the bed are awesome. The Historic Cottage and flower gardens are one of a kind paradise so clean and inviting. The pictures give you a glimpse of what is there. It was a perfect way to spend time together just the two of us and star gazing from the hot tub topped it off. It is minutes from shopping and tourist attractions on a quiet farmstead in the country where you can view horse and buggy's passing by on an evening sitting on the porch. The only thing we didn't like was that our stay was too short! It is truly a ministry and we need to be back soon. We recommend it to every "one man and one woman for life" married couple, it was more than worth it.

What a beautiful little romantic cottage that my wife and I shared for our honeymoon! This was seriously such a blessing and wonderful way to start our marriage. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone, and the owners were wonderful and Konnie was just wonderful to work with!

A Wonderful Getaway!

My husband and I recently spent 4 nights at this beautiful cottage. It was quaint, clean, and definitely had everything we needed for our mini vacation. The cottage itself sits on a farm, with horses, mini horses, and an adorable mini cow named Loretta. There is a beautiful deck (with a hot tub!) that's perfect for stargazing, or just relaxing. The property manager lives next door, and is very friendly and helpful.

Gettysburg is about an hour and a half away, and is a must if you're in the area. The village of Intercourse, and also Bird in Hand are minutes down the road, and offer great shopping and eating opportunites.

All in all, we enjoyed our stay so much, and would highly recommend this property to any friends and family traveling in the area!
