The home location is superb and perfect for both living and traveling because the 805 is minutes away, while Hilltop Park and the San Diego Country Club and golf course are within walking distance just a few blocks away.

A stunning dramatic open living area and elegant dining area boasts cathedral ceilings lit with a bright skylight and large chandelier featuring travertine stone flooring. Dressed with colorful art and designer furnishings that can accommodate large groups of people to meet and share. Also includes 3 sofa beds that provide extra sleeping areas when needed which will help save the cost of having to rent an extra hotel room for additional last minute guests.

A colorful flock of Flamingos (plastic decor) that roam the gardens and refer to the famous San Diego Zoo. The outdoor patio areas have a stainless BBQ grill and teak wood outdoor furniture which includes love seats, chairs and side tables in addition to colorful lounge chairs and other outdoor fun decor.
The large fully stocked gourmet kitchen has recessed lighting, new appliances, and plenty of counters space for serving and entertaining using the complete sets plates, silverware, glassware and cookware in addition to a blender, food processor, vegetable steamer, coffee maker, toaster and a small collection of cookbooks.

The Safari theme room refers to the famous San Diego Zoo and has a fun interior design that features two full size beds, A Zebra photo, white faux fur bed covers and animal print accent pillows. This room is perfect for 4 children to share.
The master bedroom features a California King size bed, large windows on 2 walls facing the gardens and colorful art, area rug and large mirrored door closets.
The fourth room is the 'Surfer Theme Room' and has its own bathroom with a walk-in shower, colorful art titled :'Blue Ocean Wave', designer lighting and closet.
All bedrooms has mirrored closets, chandeliers and Original IDRISI DESIGN hand painted modern art paintings that refer to San Diego tourist attractions such as the beaches, zoo and Comic Con.
Both bathrooms are finished with Travertine stone, Koehler plumbing fixtures, plenty of mirrored cabinets, linen closet and designer lighting.

Our gardens and outdoor patio areas are Eco friendly built using recycled materials for the planter areas that grow drought tolerant plants and perennials in addition to the fruit trees that are all fed using chemical free organic compost generated on-site in order to minimize the impact on our environment.

We were in town to celebrate the birthday of our twins who are both in the U.S. Navy stationed in San Diego. We had several people traveling with us and needed a property that would be both close to the base and be able to sleep a larger number without taking out a second mortgage to do so. Casa Bonita filled that need extremely well! The property is very close to the main expressway and grocery stores. The local trolley system is just a short drive in the opposite direction (which we found on the last day there) which would save people from driving into San Diego and having to pay and pay for parking. Trolley passes are $5 a day for unlimited rides and the trolley stops at or very near the major site seeing stops.
The off street parking fit two minivans and a motorcycle easily. Many people in the neighborhood parked on the street so I would not feel uncomfortable leaving my car on the street as well.
If you are looking for the Ritz Carlton, then this property is not for you, but if you are looking for someplace that feels homey and comfortable, where you don't have to worry about scuffing the wall with a suitcase on accident and being charged for it, a place where you can relax...then THIS is the place for you!
This property is definitely a value at the price the owners are asking! I would recommend it for someone who wants value and money left over to spend in town! The owners were very accommodating and welcoming! I would stay here again when traveling with a group of people!
We were in town for a wedding. Since we were traveling with a large family (younger children as well as adults), we wanted somewhere with a full kitchen to make meals a bit less expensive and healthier for us as we stayed. The grill was quite the bonus, allowing for two meals to be cooked out doors.
The house was very roomy and the layout worked well for us. Our group arrived over a 5-day period and when all arrived, there were 12 of us. There was plenty of room for all of us and the bedroom layout allowed for differing schedules (some could stay up and talk and some could go to bed).
The house is a work in progress, but very useable as is, too. It was clean and neat when we arrived. The fact that towels and sheets were provided was a definite plus since we were all flying in to the area.
The owner's were very accommodating, quick to respond to our requests for info, friendly, and helpful.
The neighborhood was decent and it allowed for easy access to the highway if needed. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling to the area and I would definitely stay here again :)
We were in town with several dancers and parents for a ballet competition and convention. We wanted a place that the girls could relax and bond together that also allowed space for everyone to move. It was also VERY important for us to have a full kitchen to make healthy meals and snacks for our dancers. This property offered everything. The pictures actually don't show how much room you will have. It felt bigger than the pictures appear which was a very pleasant surprise! The weather was perfect so we had the doors open whenever we were there and didn't have issues with noise from the street. We were able to park two larger vehicles in the driveway - it did take a bit of maneuvering but not that much. The kitchen had what we needed to make the meals we had planned and there was a washer and dryer on site which was handy! The property is close to a freeway for easy access but not so close you had freeway noise. There was a shopping center just down the road with grocery stores as well as others that was convenient.
The owner lives on site so anything that we needed, he was as close as a text to provide it. However, he was not intrusive at all. It was easy to forget that he lived on site - he respected our privacy.
Overall, we had a great experience and I would not hesitate to rent from Nizar again.
We needed a rental for a Family reunion with members coming and going for a long weekend. After the weekend my husband I stayed for a few more days. This was the perfect place. The house was clean, quiet,protected and spacious. The Irdrisi's were on site and were there if we had questions or needed something. I highly recommend El Patio for the best Mexican food and La Concha for baked goods.
We invited my brothers family and my parents to come visit us here in San Diego and because our home is not large enough, we reserved this home for them stay at as it had enough bedrooms that each one of the kids had their own room plus my parents had a room with its own bathroom which is important for them.
The location was great and allowed us to access the freeway and also visit the zoo and balboa park.
The BBQ grill and laundry was a plus and also the DVD player and movies.
Everyone enjoyed the garden and the group gatherings but it was also nice to retreat to our private rooms for relaxation when needed.
I arranged a trip for a group of women to celebrate a bridal shower for my best friend getting married and we decided on this home because it is large enough to accommodate our group plus the location was very easy to access the freeway and we were able to get to downtown very quickly.
The home was exactly as the photos show and the owners were very friendly and responsive.
We were able to use the backyard for a BBQ cookout and also the patio areas for outdoor dining.
We had a really great time.!!
The location is strategic because it is around the corner from the 805 freeway which takes you up and down the San Diego Coastline which is the destination for the important tourist attractions, beaches, and the most beautiful scenery in the County. This includes Downtown Gas lamp, SeaWorld, Lego Land, The San Diego Zoo and Balboa Park.
Locally there are so many shopping and restaurants including the newer Westfield Shopping Plaza Mall and theaters and there are a couple of malls and an outlet mall just a few minutes driving.
