Amazing Experience!

We loved it! The condo was great, the service was wonderful and the location was amazing! My husband and I arrived to have the bell hops take our bags up to our room, where a bottle of champagne and a card were waiting for us, it was our anniversary. It was perfect. The condo had everything we could need in it, towels, washer and dryer and a great Lanai for evening relaxing or morning sunsets. The grocery store right across the street made snacks and drinks easy. The beach and the pools, ahahah. Overall we had a great time and will be recommending over people to Maui Blue Properties. Thank you for taking such good care of us!

Nice unit and location

We had a nice stay in this unit, but it is definitely designed for a couple or a family with one (two tops!) small children. The space is well appointed (looks exactly like the photos!) but really pretty small unless you're family used to getting in each others' way. (And the hide-a-bed pretty uncomfortunately unless you're a small kid who weighs nothing and is exhausted from playing in the pool all day that you'll sleep anywhere!) While the bathroom is HUGE, it's a lot of wasted space and has NO storage space (but for two tiny shallow shelves). That said, it was handy having a washer/dryer - it enables you to pack really light. And there is a great supermarket, pizza place and a subway across the street (walkable) which is handy. The pool are wonderful, especially for kids and everyone we met and all the resort workers were very friendly. (The resorts lounge chairs all should be replaced however - 90% were bent and/or broken.) Duke's is terrific - super service and great happy hour specials and kids menu. They had 2 comfortable beach chairs in the unit, 4 nice thick oversize beach towels and a cooler that came in handy. And the parking was free (if you self parked in the outside lot which was very close to the front doors).

On your next visit, you may want to stay in one of our two bedroom condos at Honua Kai so that you'll have a little more space for your group. While this one bedroom condo is one of the larger one bedroom condos at the resort, it really is meant for only 4 guests.

You'll also be happy to hear that the resort is in the process of replacing all the poolside lounge chairs. They've been ordered so they'll be here by your next trip for sure.

Finally, it seems you were lucky with the parking as even self-parking at the outside lot is $12 per day. Security patrols the lots and will cite vehicles that haven't paid the parking fee.

Beautiful property

We stayed in a larger unit for one week while our kids were w/us, and then moved into this unit for 4 days and could not have been happier! It had everything we needed to enjoy the beach- chairs, umbrella, cooler, a huge bathroom, beautiful kitchen, & a large lanai. Honua Kai itself is top notch w/beautiful pools, hot tubs, & beach front. It's right on the boardwalk so you want walk to Whaler's Village or Black rock.
Maui Blue Properties were top notch to deal with. They answered questions right away. We book these 4 days as a last minute change to our itinery & they were fast & easy to deal with. We couldn't be happier!

Beautiful Place

We stayed at Honua Kai 616 and had a wonderful time. The condo is spacious with a nice view and very clean. The resort is beautifully maintained and with 3 pools and a great beach for swimming and snorkelling, you cannot ask for anything more. Duke's Restaurant, which is on site, is also great for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I highly recommend staying here. The booking/payment process was easy and straight forward as well.
