2.5 Bedroom 3 Bathroom condo, located on the 5th floor of the Marina Del Rey in Cerritos.
Exactly as described/pictured by Mazatlan4Rent. A well-stocked home - just like someone was living in it yesterday, pretty much anything you could ask for in the kitchen was present. Very clean interior and exterior. The exterior of the overall property looks a little rough due to its age and storms/salt air, but the interior is lovely; decoration inside is the talk of the neighborhood. Right ON the beach; at high tide you can feel the waves strike the seawall below. Instant access to Mazatlan's northern beaches. Amazing view from the top-floor terrace that wraps around the entire building. 2 large bedrooms, 3 large bathrooms, 2 sleeper sofas. The small "bonus" twin bed is not really usable due to its location in between the kitchen and the laundry room in a very stuffy location. Amazing customer service from the entire Mazatlan4Rent team; there were some teething problems with this unit as it was new to their management, their constant contact and dedication to working through the issues was commendable. This is an older unit built in a typical Mexican style, so water pressure is low and hot water is very limited, so adjust your expectations for that and everything will be just fine.Convenience store across the street for your immediate needs; buses, taxis and pulmonias are never a long wait on the major street right in front. This unit was very quiet as it was shaded from the street by a taller building to the rear, and at night the roar of the ocean filled every room. Lots of sea breezes as there are windows and sliding doors everywhere and lots of useful ceiling fans. For fine food, we highly recommend the Seafarer about a 5 minute walk South; hidden inside a condo facility on the north shore of the Marina - quiet (no TVs!), built on top of a lovely fish pond, and simply amazing food and service - easily the best food we ate in MZT in our 2+week stay. Prices were very fair as well; we ate there 2x, once for a date night and once with a large group and it was amazing both times. If you want to get in the water (and you should), you will have to go a little bit north as there is a rocky reef 25 feet offshore making it a little dangerous; Playa Bruja is about a 45 minute walk north and is perfect for all ages, or take the bus and be there in 5 minutes. Local divers were harvesting oysters off the reef most mornings, so if you're an oyster fan you can catch them and get them "right off the docks" for ultimate freshness. Highly recommended to all.
