Our 3 bedroom, 2 bath unit on the fourth floor of Amelia by the Sea has been completely remodeled from end-to-end. The bright colors of the unit provide a vacation inspiration while the nautical furnishings enhance the perfect beach front background to your vacation. The kitchen has all new appliances and cabinets, granite countertops and is equipped to cook almost anything. Luna, our maiden mermaid, welcomes you to the living room which has a new 55” LCD big screen TV and DVD player. A new stacked washer and dryer are also provided for your convenience.
The master bedroom has a king bed, an LCD TV, a very large closet and bathroom but most of all, it has a direct ocean view with the soothing sounds of the waves. The second bedroom has a queen bed and the third bedroom has a queen and a twin bed with a lighthouse mural on the wall. What better place for a child to dream of pirate ships and buried treasure?
The living room has 16 feet of glass overlooking the ocean, pier, beach and dunes, where there is a constant gentle breeze that comes off of the Atlantic. The balcony has a table and chairs for your comfort while you enjoy your morning coffee, lunch or dinner, or just listen to the sound of the surf and seagulls as you watch the sun rise over the pier.
The 800+ foot fishing pier is available exclusively to guests at Amelia by the Sea. A license is not required for you when fishing from our private pier. The 40,000 gallon gated swimming pool, which is one of the largest pools on the island, is on the ocean side of the building and has been completely redone and is now glistening in the sun ready for your arrival. Two tennis courts are also available and the golf course is only a mile away. A gated beach walkway will take you directly to the beautiful sandy beaches of Amelia Island, consistently voted as one of the best beaches in North America.
Property management for this unit is on site 7/24 so you always have someone available to help in any situation. Amelia by the Sea is a gated complex with parking for a maximum of 2 vehicles per unit. Sorry, but pets are not allowed on the property per the By-laws. Our unit measures over 1,500 square feet.

We currently live in Colorado and visit our beach home whenever we can! We have two young children. Our family loves swimming, shelling, biking, golfing and hiking around the island. We want everyone to feel at home when renting our unit and hope you enjoy the family-friendly environment as much as we do.

We love Amelia Island. It is the last in the chain of the 'Golden Isles' but it is the least commercial with a honest, home town feel and friendly hospitality that is so reminiscent of old Florida. St. Augustine is an 1.5 hours away while Orlando is 3.5 hours. From JAX airport, it is an easy drive of about 25 minutes. There is also a small private airport on the island. Amelia Island is the home of the Ritz Carlton and the OMNI Plantation. The charming Victorian downtown is right out of the 1880's and offer excellent shopping, fine and casual dining as well as river tours and fishing charters. The Surf Bar and Restaurant is conveniently located across the street and has an large outdoor deck with live music and cold libations.
The most unique benefit of our property is the private fishing pier - one of only two on the entire eastern seaboard. You don't have to have a license to fish off off the pier, but you must be a guest at our property to access it. Unlike other condos on the island, our spacious 3-bedroom unit offers a large, wide layout with an expansive ocean-front views with over-sized sliding doors to the balcony overlooking the ocean. Our property manager is on site 24 hours to assist you.
We've stayed in several condo's on the beach, this is by far the most equipped unit we have ever been in.
Everything we needed was there. Matt & Carrie went above and beyond to accommodate our travel dates and were very hospitable. Our three year old loved the pirate room. Easy access to the beach and pool. We had a wonderful time and will definitely go back!
I love this unit - it is clean, comfortable and everything is new! I've been to Amelia Island several times and this is by far the best place we have stayed. The unit overlooks the 900' private pier, pool and beach. My favorite part is the sound of the waves and I spent quite a bit of time on the balcony. Matt and Carrie are on-site and they took care of everything. We will be back again next year and hope to do some more fishing and beach activities.
Oh my...Where do I start. My entire family has been vacationing at these condos every year for 20+ years, often renting up to 5 units at the time, from the rental agency. The private fishing pier is our main draw. Our men folk fish, often way into the night. This, however, was the first time I had rented from a private owner. I admit I was a little concerned, having never done it this was but probably won't ever do it any other way again. Most definitely if I can reserve this unit. I have had a lot of condos to compare with. This one by far has exceeded all expectations. I really like my vacation room to be as nice as home and sometimes in the past I felt like I was staying in the Brady Bunch's house.
The furniture, kitchen equipment, bedding, decor, washer/dryer were all updated and of nice quality. Amelia by the Sea is a quiet family friendly vacation hideaway and this room, is over the top!
Perfect condo! Well maintained and had no problems what so ever. The most well stocked and comfortable place we have ever stayed in and property managers were excellent to work with! Can't wait to go back next year! Thank you Matt & Carrie Schenecker!
The condo was very roomy and comfortable with an excellent view of the ocean and pier. We had everything we needed in the kitchen for cooking and eating in. It was a wonderful week and would love to go back again.
