Charming and Quaint Historic Home

I stayed at the Degas House with a handful of friends. Like much of New Orleans, the home has plenty of charm and history, in addition to its beautiful architecture. I, personally, stayed in the Desiree Room, which was very spacious and comfortable. It also has ample natural light, which enhanced the room’s natural splendor. The Degas House also has a very interesting guided tour that as a guest of the house is free! It provides a glimpse into the past and really makes you feel priveleged to sleep in such a storied residence. Other highlights of our stay were a tremendous breakfast and a wonderfully accomodating staff.
I would highly recommend a stay at the Degas House to anyone planning on visiting New Orleans.
