Atlanta House Rental Photos and Description
3 Bedrooms, 1.5 Bathrooms, Den, Sleeps 6
I have a four day minimum stay. This home is seven miles from downtown Atlanta and located in one of Atlanta's safest zip codes.
No pets, says my insurance carrier.
WiFi and everything you want while visiting an urban area and if not interested in ''hotel life'' included for use in the home. Upgraded interior includes silk drapes and real oriental carpet. The dishes are vintage collectibles and the selection of pots and pans is extensive. Heavy flatware. Fluffy towels and quilts and down pillows are provided for all the beds. The sheets are very good. Some of the vacation homes you may have visited looked like they were furnished with basement castoffs; you won't feel like you have dropped down several socioeconomic groups in this home. In short, the place is the way you like to live.
The upscale neighborhood is perfect for running or jogging. Plenty of street lights and sidewalks. Extensive dvd library. Treadmill on hand in case of bad weather and you can enjoy cable, Netflix, streaming television or Redbox is a block away.
Amenities: First aid kit. Laundry soap, dish detergent and paper products provided. Some pantry staples in kitchen. More baking pans than you can use.
The subdivision is on the Ridgedale Park side of Peachtree Road, across Peachtree Road from the area known as Old Brookhaven.
Garden Hills public pool in Buckhead is 3.7 miles away.
What you will love about this urban oasis is that the neighborhood is established with large trees and landscaping. Your strolls through the neighborhood will be enjoyable in any season of the year.
The location is excellent. Locals know that Brookhaven is a great neighborhood. Not as congested as the Buckhead garden subdivisions, but very convenient. The number one complaint common to the Atlanta area is traffic. Well, travelers, just walk two and one half blocks to the Marta Station and you can be at Stone Mountain Amusement Park, Atlanta Mart, Downtown, Airport, Midtown, Buckhead or pretty much anywhere in the Atlanta metro area. You can see folks stuck on 400 from your train window
Location: You can board the commuter train in the airport, go to the Brookhaven Marta train station in 23 minutes, and roll your suitcase to the house in a few more minutes (Or take a taxi for six bucks! Taxis are always in front of the Brookhaven Marta train station). Return home by the reverse route.
Center for Disease Control is three miles away, the house is very close to Emory and the Georgia Shakespeare Company's productions at Oglethorpe University are less than 2 miles away. The home is seven miles from downtown Atlanta.
For shopping, if you are fit you can walk to the Buckhead Lenox Square and Phipps Plaza malls at 1.5 miles. Town Brookhaven is 3 miles away with Marshalls and Costco. Within 3 miles are at least 20 bars and restaurants. If you love antiques and thrift stores, Antiques Row in Chamblee is a train ride and short bus ride away.
No more than six persons, with infants counted as persons.

Guestbook comments from the owner
Comfy Beds, loads of room to stretch out and not be on top of each other - everything we needed in kitchen. Big towels, hand lotion, very interesting decor - just the opposite of a bland, cramped hotel room!! Loved walking around the 'hood and seeing what Atlanta is doing with urban infill - looks like Brookhaven is the hot spot. My favorite was the gorgeous contemporary home across the street - wow! This home has everything one would need for a very comfortable stay and would highly recommend it. Roomy, good amenities, great location, many nice touches.
The owners are a family that have been in the rental business since the 70's. We have had this house since 2009 and purchased it because the neighborhood made it possible to rely exclusively on public transportation and because the area is upscale and has beautiful landscaping along streets that are perfect for walking or running. We are a family with a great love for this beautiful city.
The subdivision is in a perfect location, the house is 2 blocks from North Peachtree street. Fit conscious adults run and walk down the neighborhood sidewalks. The neighbors are friendly and homes here are lovingly cared for.
Outdoor space is plentiful.
