A fabulous oasis so close to the beach

I can't say enough good things about the month I spent in this home on Kiawah Island. I've been coming to Kiawah Island for 25+ years and this house and the owners are my favorite. The neighborhood is a gem with a pond, a community pier overlooking the beautiful marshes and very quick access to the beach. The house is fabulously appointed, has perfect indoor and outdoor spaces and overlooks a quaint pond. There is enough room for people to be together or separate for some quiet time. The location is fabulous and makes it easy to walk on the beach to the east end of the island, get some exercise, see the porpoises and find whole sand dollars. Many a morning started with a walk or bike ride on the beach followed by breakfast on the patio while watching the wildlife and resident alligator in the pond. And if you're a golfer, there's nothing that compares with the five courses available on the island, Several nights were spent watching the sunset at the Ryder Cup Bar at the Ocean Course. You can dine at any of the great restaurants on the island, off island or easily cook in the great kitchen or grill at the house, The owners were fabulous; they communicated regularly, provided all of the needed information timely and made the stay such a pleasant experience. Thank you for making my vacation such a wonderful experience.
