You’re a short walk (4 minutes) to a private Lake Michigan beach or a short hop (4 miles) to downtown South Haven where you can take in its picturesque waterfront, great restaurants, quaint shopping, and entertaining summer festivals.

Built in the fall of 2010, the air-conditioned home has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, a fully-equipped kitchen and a comfy family room with vaulted ceiling. Enjoy a meal or a cocktail on the inviting deck/patio, relax with a book in the loft overlooking the woods, and fully stocked with beach equipment, and en suite laundry room!

Privately located on a wooded lot only 2 1/2 blocks to association beach access; 5 min to South Haven, the quaintest harbor town featuring restaurants, antiquing, shopping and beach activities. 15 min to Saugatuck/Douglas which features live theater and art galleries. Stop in nearby Fennville and check out the winery, or visit any of the numerous orchards and berry patches along the way. Golf, water sports, hiking trails and dune buggy rides are all nearby, with something for every member of the family.

Other Activities: Shopping, Antique browsing, great restaurants, hanging out at the beach, watching the sunsets, making smore's in the chimnea, and wine tastings to name just a few.

Spent a fantastic 3 days with our grandkids at this perfect little cottage in the woods. This property is perfectly located and well maintained inside and out. We immediately felt at home. Jen has thought of everything for one's comfort. From Boogie boards, beach towels and beach chairs to little extras in the kitchen to games & movies. This place has it all! It could not have been any more perfect. Thanks Jen for your hospitality and all the little extras. We will definitely recommend your place to family and friends.

We spent a wonderful weekend with family in this amazing cottage. Great amenities, a short walk from the beach, beautifully secluded location but close enough to town to get whatever you may need. We will definitely go back & highly suggest you reserve this home while you can!

Great Location and Wonderful House

My college friends and I enjoyed our long weekend in October. It is a steep walk down and up the stairs to the rock covered beach. So, it might not be great for small children. But, for adults, it was great.

Only one other thing you might want to know. There is no real TV reception at the house. Normally, this would be great. We didn't drive to Michigan to watch TV. However, it was a World Series and Notre Dame game...and some of the guys were interested in keeping an eye on the score. We had to go into town (a five minute drive) and sit at the bar to do that. Not a real problem, just and FYI.

Location and condition of the house was fantastic.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Romantic Getaway

I love this cottage! From the beginning of the process working with Jen, I knew this was the right place for me. She was delightful and accommodating to work with! This home is tucked back at the edge of the woods on a dead end road just steps from the lakefront. The home is pristine, nicely appointed and had a great vibe. The patio and amenities were pefect for a nice, quiet dinner on the patio listening to the rustle of the fall trees. The bedrooms were cozy and comfortable and overall, it was a lovely weekend out of the city...rain and all! I look forward to a return visit soon!

We had such a wonderful time in South Haven and at your cottage! Everything was perfect and it felt as if we were at home, just in a gorgeous location. Such a beautiful neighborhood the cottage is in. Thank you very much for all your hospitality and we do hope to return again!!
