The home is well located near Longwood hospital district, Arnold Arboretum, Franklin Park, historic Forest Hills Cemetery, pubs, and restaurants. Public transport within walking distance and a 15 min train ride to downtown Boston.

Home has off street parking, lovely backyard, PRIVACY, first floor laundry, sleeping for 8, fully equipped kitchen, WIFI, large great room addition, 2 full baths, library, master bedroom with cathedral ceilings and California king bed, smaller guest room with two twin beds, new queen sleeper sofa and queen Aerobed.

  • Refundable $250 security deposit taken at time of reservation. Security deposit will be refunded back to occupant within 14 days after stay. Rate reflects 4 person occupancy. Each additional adult is $25/per person, per night
  • 3 night minimum preferable.

    Rates for Fall/Winter 2011: $225 weekend night per 4 person occupancy. $200 weekday night (Sun-Thurs) Each additional Person $25/per night ($275 for holiday weekends)

    Rates for Winter 2012: $225 weekend night per 4 person occupancy. $200 weekday night (Sun-Thurs) Each additional Person $25/per night ($275 for holiday weekends)

    Cleaning Fee: $100 for stays less than a week, $150 flat rate for a week or longer.

Beautiful place in JP with access to all JP has to offer with short commutes to Brookline and downtown. Great back yard and parking. Very quiet and very clean! We will definitely be back!

Renting a home for a vacation can often be a daunting task - filtering through all of the options trying to find the best accommodations at the most affordable price. Well, hopefully this review will help you narrow down your choices more quickly and get you in the right vacation home for your stay. Meg's home was perfect for us. It's in a quiet neighborhood, affording us wonderfully restful nights. It is located just a short walk to the T, affording us easy access to transportation. It is close to "town." We walked to breakfast at Fiore's and City Seed and Feed, meandering home along the neighborhood streets enjoying the views. It is very clean and has all of the amenities. When we needed help understanding how to use the remote, Donna, Meg's property manager, was immediately responsive and very helpful. Furthermore, it was a pleasure communicating with Meg through the whole rental process, before and after our stay. When we return to Boston we will be staying here again.

Meg's house is a great, comfortable space in a wonderful location. Prior to the stay, she was very responsive to my questions and very flexible on the conditions of the stay; she is a great owner and I would recommend everyone to rent from her. The overall property was very nice with a great backyard and updated rooms throughout. We traveled with our baby and found it to be a great rental for all of us. For those who do end up renting this location, do make a trip to Ula Cafe and grab some popovers - they are delicious.

This is the one!

This is a wonderful house, very clean and full of character. The sunroom in the back has been added recently, and the kitchen has been upgraded. The beds were comfortable, and the house is an easy walk to the beautiful arboretum where we spent an entire day. JP Licks is also within walking distance and has great ice cream. The back yard is nice, and there is a walking/biking trail that you can see from the porch. There are several markets nearby, and a Whole Foods down the road. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely stay here. The house is very comfortable and has all the special touches of home. The owner was very personable and provided detailed information on the home, the neighborhood and greater Boston. The home is convenient to the neighborhood shopping area and with easy access to the T the rest of Boston is just a short subway ride away. It is a great home if you are traveling with children. There are playgrounds, eateries and a grocery store within a short walk. It would be a pleasure to stay here again.
