I am a business man living in a small town in South Ga., Moultrie. I have been in business for 30 years. This is my personal vacation home.
My family uses it quite often and we keep it emaculately clean, neat, and ready for your enjoyment.
Ed purchased this house in 2007
This is an awesome spot for quiet relaxation, with access within a few minutes of any activities you may enyoy on the island and or in town. A1A Historical beach drive south thru 3 of the most beautiful State Parks and fishing Bridge that stretch 4 blocks from the house to 12 miles to a Ferry that continues your way to Jacksonville and its Shopping meca The St Johns Town Center or any of Jville's other entertainment spots including Civic Center and Pro Sports, Concerts etc. And just a few more miles south, Ponte Vedra and St. Augustine, Florida, one of our country's oldest settlements. Historical Fort Clinch on the Island, great shops and restaurants in Island town Fernandina. Fishing, Boating, Water Sports, Sight seeing by boat to Cumberland Island where wild horses roam free and historical Kennedy Wedding spot. Golf galore. Its all here and easy to access.
In the trees but only steps away from the beach.
We enjoyed our visit to Amelia Island & Fernandina. Great restaurants, shops, fishing, beach, etc.
Great location, easy beach, bike path, and pool access, quiet, clean, roomy and comfortable.. Well equipped kitchen although we dined out for all meals.. Owner very accommodating , will plan to stay again.. Barbara Jeans for excellent seafood ,super Shrimp and Grits, and Parkway Grille for breakfast and lunch.. Sand Dollar at the A1A Ferry, nice drive and good food..
The house was very clean, everything functioned. Could have had some directions for the TV & various appliances. Pools were close & never crowded & the beach was a very short walk. There is a local rental service we learned about accidentally for beach umbrellas, etc. Wish there had been a note about that. Sofa bed not comfortable but they rarely are. We drove in so had brought an AeroBed air mattress. There were bikes in the garage which was a plus but several had flat tires. Owner was very accommodating with the couple of things we needed to call about and all anything needed was a quick explanation. Over all we were very pleased & will use again when we return to Amelia Island. We had family coming in from Texas, Washington state & Maryland so the proximity to the Jacksonville airport was great.
