This gorgeous 2-bedroom w/den and sleeper sofa, 2-1/2 bath condo with a loft office is situated in Santa Monica's most upscale neighborhood. Located on 16th Street JUST STEPS from glamorous Montana Avenue, it's smack in the heart of boutiques, restaurants, coffee shops, yoga studios, cafes and yogurt stores - you can't get any better than this! Really!

Furnished in mid-century modern décor, this multi-level 2,000 sq. foot home is significantly larger than standard 2-bedroom condos. It's so spacious, there's room for everyone to spread out. It's clean with a tranquil feel making it comfortable to relax in, especially in front of the living room's fireplace in the winter. And there's wireless high-speed internet access throughout the house.

Bedrooms: All rooms feature new hotel bed linens, down comforters and a TV. The master bedroom features a California king bed, remodeled marble bathroom with a double sink, 2-headed shower and a walk-in closet. Upstairs in the master bedroom is a loft office, and off the loft, you can relax or dine on the large rooftop patio where, if you stand, you can see the ocean!

The second bedroom features a queen bed and a bathtub/shower, while the den has a Panasonic 50' flat screen TV and modern sofa/sleeper bed with a back that folds into a comfortable full bed. This is NOT a pull-out bed w/ a metal bar jabbing you in the back!

Luxurious, plush white towels are in every bathroom. The kitchen's filtered water spout means you don't have to buy bottled water.

Property sleeps 6 comfortably in beds.

Outdoors: Two more patios decorated with beautiful plants are located off the main floor for outdoor dining or relaxing. Ample street parking is available and with the two parking permit passes you can park without time restrictions.

- 20 minute walk to the beach for swimming, biking (rental places all over) or walking.

- 20 minute walk to the Third Street Promenade for shopping, dining and entertainment (movies).

- 5 min drive to the Santa Monica pier for amusement park rides and games for kids.

The Unique Benefits of this Condo: If you like to walk out the front door and be near stores, cafes, restaurants and dessert places, you can't get any better than this! And if you're not into shopping, Montana Ave is still a great block to people watch while walking to the beach. You can run or bike on the beach's bike strand or on San Vicente Blvd. If you have work to do, stay in as the neighborhood is QUIET and peaceful. Why Owner chose Santa Monica

We bought this house because we HAD to live in Santa Monica, the greatest place on earth! Everyone in LA loves Santa Monica, and if they say they don't, they're just jealous b/c there's nothing not to like! 16th Street is especially fabulous because it's on the top of a hill so when looking west there's a view of all of Montana Ave. Our townhouse is only 20 steps away from this hip street.

Great apartment, fantastic location, concierge-level information - one of the best ever!

My family of 5 had a wonderful time here in Santa Monica and a big part of it is because of this home - what a great location and such well-kept accommodations. Sharon went above and beyond to have
instructions available for virtually anything that one can think of or come across as far as living in the apartment goes. We rent apartments everywhere we go (Rome, Umbria, Positano, London, Tokyo, Amsterdam, Antwerp...) and I must say Sharon's tops them all in terms of how well she's equipped the apartment and the information provided. The apartment came stocked with coffee, shampoos, laundry facilities and detergent and many other things that are not typical in other vacation rentals.

There are great restaurants just around the corner (we went to Blue Planet twice - fantastic Mac & Cheese and Fish Tacos), the shopping is excellent (my wife and daughter lightened my wallet at a number of the boutiques) and we had fresh croissants and pain au chocolate from the bakery every morning.

We would highly recommend Sharon's apartment!

This is a very nice condo in a great location. The condo is spacious - 4 levels - and very well appointed. Very clean and neat. The shower in the master bedroom is awesome. It's also in a very convenient location. Lots of excellent restaurants and stores within easy walking distance. Santa Monica Pier is also within walking distance or a short drive away. Sharon is a great host - friendly, responsive and easily accessible. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. You won't be disappointed.
