Ski Trip with Kids

This house was perfect. The house was ready when we walked in. There was a note that the hot tub had been cleaned and filled and was ready...and it was! The place is very large. The pictures reflect it well. The driveway is heated so you never have issues getting in or out. All kitchen appliances needed were there and in working order and clean. The master bed room is huge and the shower is as well. One thing I did not see in the listing was a ski room...but this house has one with enough hooks and benches for every one and their gear. It is also cement, so no worries about snow and water on the floor. The washer/Dryer is right outside this room too. How convenient to make sure tomorrows gear is dry and ready to go. The views are stunning. the deck is massive and wraps around giving you killer views of the slopes and down to the lake. Sunrise is amazing too. if this stays on the rental market we will be back. It is truly ski-in and ski-out. a 10 foot walk to the ski path and you are on your way. Just make sure as you drop by the "owners lift" and find out the operating hours of that chair It ran 9-4 all weekend for us which was ideal. But if it is not running, you need another plan to get back. This is the case for night skiing. (Of course we merely used one of our cars to make the 5 minute drive, so this is not a big deal). It would also be a 10 min. uphill walk in gear which is not impossible. whitefish delivered a great family trip and this house brought it all together for us.

This is an amazing property. We thought the house looked even better than the pictures, if that is possible. It had everything, down to the smallest detail...even Christmas china. We can't wait to return!
