Casita Mallorca is a comfortable, fully equipped, one-bedroom garden apartment that can sleep four people. It is located in San Francisco's trendy Marina District, just one block from Chestnut Street, with its numerous and diverse restaurants, bakeries, coffee shops, boutiques, wine bars, movies, gyms, and flower shops. Safeway and drugstore, banks,You are in walking distance of the Palace of Fine Arts, Exploratorium, Presidio, Marina Greens and Crissy Field, with gorgeous views of the Golden Gate Bridge.

The unit consists of one bedroom with a king-size bed and large closet, a fully equipped kitchen with a new stove, dishwasher, refrigerator and microwave, a newly-tiled and remodeled bathroom, including a full tub and shower, a pedestal sink and loads of storage and shelf space. A washer/dryer is located inside the apartment. The living room has a gas fireplace, flat-screen 42-inch cable TV, DVD player and stereo, and includes a queen-size sofa bed. All linens are provide

French doors lead out to a lovely garden, fully equipped with a barbecue and patio dining set. After a full day of sightseeing, you can relax with a glass of wine and enjoy a barbecue.

You're in the perfect place to partake in all that San Francisco has to offer, and yet come home to a comfortable garden apartment in a completely safe neighborhood. You are one block from buses going to Pier 39, Fisherman's Wharf, Chinatown, North Beach, Union Square and the Financial District (all very short distances) . You can connect with the BART subway system and Muni bus lines that take you to all the great museums and other neighborhoods. A quick drive across the Golden Gate Bridge will transport you to the magnificent Marin Headlands, Mt. Tamalpais, Muir Woods and Sausalito. Explore a bit further and you're in the Wine Country, enjoying colorful vistas while wine tasting. A drive south on Highway 1 takes you to beautiful Santa Cruz, Monterey (with its world-class Aquarium), and Carmel.

The apartment has no designated parking available, but you can easily park on the street, without worry, upon getting a temporary parking permit (available from the SF Municipal Transportation Agency for a small free.

Had a Great Time in San Francisco

We had a lovely time in San Francisco. The apartment was great. It was exactly as advertised, and suited the two of us perfectly. We were able to walk almost everywhere. Chestnut St was delightful. We had some great meals there (and a few drinks). On new years eve we decided to watch the fireworks over the hill from Marina Park. All in all a wonderful break. It was all made so easy.

Great San Francisco Apartment

We stayed for five nights in the two bedroom apartment. It was fabulously appointed and decorated. The bedrooms were excellent with king size beds and loads of wardrobe space. We loved the kitchen which was sparkling and modern. Everything had been though of in regards to kitchen utensils. The lounge room was really nicely decorated and could be used as an extra sleeping space. We were travelling with three teenagers and this apartment gave us lots of room to spread out and be comfortable. There were three televisions in the apartment too.
The apartment was only about a block from Chestnut St and it was a fantastic place for shopping as well as eating.
Rick and Kathy were very attentive and helpful during our stay, even suggesting good places to eat etc.
There is a car parking space under the apartment and this was good for us as we had a car with us even though one is not necessary to get around. It is a bit of a tight space however.
Having washing machine and a dryer was a bonus for a travelling family.
We loved this apartment and will tell all of our friends.We will return again one day

This very nice apartment is very well equipped, sparkling clean, really comfortable and cozy. We got a temporary parking permit and never had a problem in finding a parking space. The location is great for shopping, walking, sightseeing as well as reaching main points of interest. The owners were very warm,friendly, helpful people. I would certainly recommend Casita to friends and relatives.

we rented this terrific apt. from 09/13 to 09/22/2012. this was the first time we had rented in this manner. we had heard the bad experiences people had with this type of renting, but the prior good reviews and there were many made us take the chance. no regrets here. exactly as billed and the owners were helpful and there with anything that was needed. the location of course was perfect for our needs and the apt. was very well maintained and clean. everything you could want was there and the backyard with barbecue was used thoroughly.no hills nearby and chestnut street a wonderful place to eat and shop within 2 blocks walk.we would certainly want to revisit this place in our next visit. enjoy this with confidence.

Cozy, convenient, and comfortable!

We found Casita Mallorca perfect for our needs. It was clean and well-maintained, and the location can't be beat. In just a couple of minutes, we were on bustling Chestnut Street, with many good restaurants, interesting stores, and bars with lots of action and young people. Public transportation was also closeby. Mallorca Way itself is in a quiet and upscale neighborhood. The apartment is very small, but adorable, nicely decorated, and containing everything we needed. We loved the coziness and warmth of sitting in front of the gas fireplace after an active day in the city. The bed was big and comfortable, and the bathroom and shower were very nice. We didn't have time to use the outdoor patio, but found it lovely to look out on. We definitely would recommend this apartment, and hope to return in the future.
