Amazing Castle Glen Home - Beautifully appointed modern lodge in Big Bear’s best neighborhood. This estate is ready to be enjoyed with game room including pooltable, shuffleboard, bar & plenty of room to relax. Gourmet kitchen fully equipped & ready for quality together time, four big bedrooms, four bathrooms (two en-suite) and out back you will find a gorgeous mountain-view w/ outdoor swing next to a large 7 person hot tub. Sunset views to die for and a perfect pic backdrop!

Lux Log Cabin Home, well appointed four bedrooms (two with en-suite bathrooms) and four bathrooms on two floors. One master on main floor, with three more bedrooms downstairs. Full kitchen, game room with three fold down double futons for overflow sleeping arrangements and outdoor space including hot tub and new Traeger Pro 34 pellet grill/smoker.

But this isn’t your *average* rental, by any means, as I have modeled BearBrae on what I would want from a vacation stay. Cozy spa robes, thick and plentiful towels, top notch cookware and sundries are all provided.

Additionally, I don’t believe that, at this price point, guests should be responsible for cleaning on the way out. Empty the garbage and load the dishwasher, that’s it, our cleaning crew takes care of everything else.

I am permitted for up to 10 adults (w/ 16 total occupancy) with parking for four (4) cars total.

Entire house and property EXCEPT for two lower level storage closets which contain everything we need to be GREAT hosts.

One of Big Bear’s newer and most popular developments, Castle Glen Estates is located on the south shore, overlooking the eastern end of Big Bear Lake and Baker Pond. The area was developed in the early 2000’s. Homes in Castle Glen Estates represent some of the finest craftsmanship of local mountain builders. The interiors of these homes typically feature vaulted and open-beam ceilings, extensive wood trim treatments, and many offer the Great Room living design so popular in mountain homes.

Featuring wide, winding streets and underground utilities, the area is sprinkled with oaks and pines, and unique rock formations that many homeowners have incorporated into their landscape design. The feel in Castle Glen is “mountainy,” with natural vegetation and low-maintenance Xeriscape yards, and plenty of open space.

With a mix of full-time and vacation properties, the area is popular not only for its views but for its proximity to goods and services in Big Bear Lake, the lake itself, and both winter resorts. It is just minutes to the Big Bear City airport for easy commuting or weekend fly-in’s.

Mountain Transit's Free Big Bear Trolley service offers convenient and reliable transportation for both locals and visitors to help eliminate traffic congestion and car pollution in the Valley.

Traffic and illegal parking are a significant issue for Big Bear during the busy winter and summer seasons. We encourage everyone to leave their vehicles at their homes or rentals and hop on the Free Big Bear Trolley to navigate the town.

Three new routes have been specially designed to make accessing restaurants, grocery stores, retail shops, ski resorts, snow play areas, parks and work easy and efficient.

Bear Brae is located near the Red Line which will take you to all the best of Big Bear.

Permitting allows for 10 adults with 16 total occupants and four (4) cars total on property, no street parking allowed.

Rules to Vacation by:

*Do not exceed the occupancy limit
Do not exceed the stated occupancy at any time during your stay. The maximum number of adult occupants may be less than the total maximum occupancy.

NO PARTIES ALLOWED.

*No parking in street or yard
Parking is only permitted in the driveway, designated parking spaces, and garage. This includes trailers. The maximum number of vehicles permitted is on the exterior sign.

*No amplified music 24/7
Amplified music is not permitted to be heard beyond the property line 24/7. Close your windows to avoid music carrying beyond the property line.

*Head inside at 10:00 p.m.
Noisy outdoor activities and spa use are prohibited from 10:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.

*Take trash to dumpster locations
Trash needs to be taken to a local dumpsite unless there are commercial trash bins at your property.

Consequences:

Unfortunately, a few of our guests refuse to extend common courtesy and neighborly behavior toward the guests and residents around them. For those guests who have come to party and disrupt the peace and tranquility of the neighborhoods, there are costly and severe consequences.

Fines
The minimum fine for violating the rules stated previously is $500 per violation. A second offense is $1000 per violation.

Eviction
Unruly guests who blatantly disregard the rules and expectations will be evicted without a refund. In addition, costly citations may be issued to the undersigned.

WINTER WEATHER
Snow Removal is the guest’s responsibility. Winter snow may reduce parking, depending on volume. Decks, porches, BBQ’s and/or hot tubs may be snowed in depending on how much snow any given storm produces. A snow shovel will be provided at the home, if you are unable to find a shovel please contact us so we may deliver one.

More on REFUSE
Big Bear does not provide trash removal for vacation rentals. Therefore, you must remove all of your trash. Renters are required to take their trash to the dump site. Failure to take trash to the dump sites will result in a minimum fee of $25 per bag.
