A week on the lake.
We stayed a week in this cottage. First thing we saw was a well landscaped lawn and a nice looking cottage. It was dark when we arrived. The house was well prepared for us. Lights were on. The living room and dinning room were tastefully decorated. The kitchen was well set up with everything we needed. The bedrooms were nice. We only used one bed and it was very comfortable. Central air added to our comfort. Our first morning we opened the blinds overlooking the lake. What an incredible view! The sun comming up was spectacular. There are very small islands just beyond the dock. A bird watchers paradise. We did see an alligater a couple of times in the lake. Well this is Florida. The screened in patio was nice to watch the birds with out the bugs. It is a quiet neighborhood. It is close to shops and stores. Just a short distance to the gulf beaches. We went there to watch the sunset. John's Pass is one place to visit. Featuring numerous shops and restaurants. Boat trips to see the dolphins and deepsea fishing are available.
A few of the restaurants near the cottage are Chilis, Apple Bees, Texas Cattle Company, sandwich, pizza, and locally owned family style, just to name a few.
Needless to say we enjoyed a wonderful , relaxed stay.
Owner's Response: How nice of David and his wife to take the time to comment on their stay in Largo and what a great couple they were. They used every amenity and when they left, everything was clean as a whistle. We loved having them stay at the cottage on the lake. We just wish they could have stayed longer (and so did they).
