This is a brand new luxury self contained stone house in traditional Istrian style. The house, completed in 2006, has its own walled garden with private swimming pool (8 x 4 metres). It is tastefully equipped with modern kitchen and traditional Istrian style solid wood furniture. The house has a spacious & shady south facing ground floor terrace with barbecue as well as a sunny poolside patio for alfresco eating. There is also a beautiful traditional Istrian open hearth in the living room. Modern central heating also on hand for winter rentals. The shady car port has space for 2 cars but parking on the street is also no problem.

Nearest Ferry: Porec (hydrofoil to Venice) at 9 Kilometres
Nearest Train: Pazin (slow trains!) at 25 Kilometres
Nearest Motorway: Nova vas at 10 Kilometres
Nearest Beach: beach at 1200.0 Metres

Located at the quiet edge of the small village of Vabriga, the house is 10 minutes walk from the sea. All nearby beaches are of pebble and stone with crystal clear waters. Boat hire is also available nearby. Vabriga & especially the nearby twin village of Tar offer numerous restaurants and local shops and you are 10 minutes by car from the lively town of Porec. The attractive coastal towns of Porec and Visnjan are also reached in minutes by car. Inland you will find vineyards, olive groves (and some say the best olive oil in the world) as well as quite villages in the Istrian countryside. The historic Venetian town of Rovijn and Pula with its Roman amphitheatre are also only short drives away along the modern road opened in 2005. You can also make day trip excursions to Triest (by road) and Venice (by high speed ferry from Porec) or even into the beautiful Slovenian Alps for the more adventurous visitor.

Paradise for parents and kids

We had a wonderful stay! This georgeous house has loads of space for two sets of parents and 4 children. The kids loved the private pool. The property is a beautiful stone house, perfectly clean and as described in the ad with a well equipped kitchen, al-fresco dining and a lovely shady balcony for the balmy evenings. It is in a quite corner of the village of Vabriga, near the sea and close enough to the lively port towns of Porec and Novigrad for quick visits and shopping, yet far enough away that we could laze in the garden when we just felt like relaxing the kids.

Highly recommended - we will be back!

Wir waren mit 2 Kindern im Juni 2007 in Vabriga.
Vielen Dank an den Vermieter für die gute Betreuung vorher und nachher.
Das Haus ist wunderschön und für die Kinder und für uns
war es ein gelungener Urlaub.
Es war sauber, es gab genug Platz und der Pool war ideal für uns.
Als Augangspunkt für Porec und Umgebung sehr Zentral.

Wir haben 2008 noch mal gebucht.
Bis dann, wir freuen uns.
