Some time ago I noticed a need for large capacity high end luxury accommodations around Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg and decided to build Moose Hollow Lodge to fulfill this need. Since this time families all over the United States and Canada have been coming for reunions, churches have been enjoying the large retreat accommodations, corporations have meetings, and many couples have had wonderful catered weddings at the lodge.
When you vacation with large groups you want the luxury of space! Moose Hollow is the only log in all the Smoky Mountains that provides and inclusive indoor heated pool as well as a chapel & conference center that includes 2100 karaoke songs and wireless mic's for giving presentations.
This cabin has everything you need while away from home on property. It's beautiful, clean, well-kept and comfortable for the entire family!
What an awesome lodge! So beautiful and located in an awesome area with beauty surrounding it! The inside of the home was very clean and it felt very homely. Once there you never have to leave if you don't want to, theres entertainment of every kind right there in the house including an indoor pool!! I would recommend this lodge to any family reunion, ministry event, or wedding to this lodge it also has a beautiful chapel right there on site!! You will not regret booking this lodge for your next event!! Thank you Mr Devain for building this home!!
Mouse Hollow Lodge was the best! I recently visited for a retreat. As I looked at the property, all I could think was breath taking. The rooms, all of them, were big and spacious. I looked at some of the small details such as the ice maker, ample hot water decanters, the oversized wrap around porch where you have beautiful majestic views of the mountains in every corner of the lodge. The Chapel and Conference Center which serves as multi purpose room was great and even from that view point there are balconies for you to take in all of the awesome view which were simply beautiful. As you are up on the mountain you can only consider God's Majesty and being there for a retreat just sealed the awesomeness and wonder of his glory. The Lodge itself is well equipped with everything you need and it is so very comfortable and quite homie 8-).
I have to ask, if this lodge is more conducive to those who have disabilities i.e. a rail from the conference center to the lodge instead of the 3 steps, rails on first floor in the bathroom tub and toilet areas, a lighted driveway with a larger sign that identifies Moose Hollow Lodge that would make it more convenient and comfortable for your lodgers, and for people who have various disabilities.
This cabin was used for a family reunion and it was just wonderful! We had newborns all the way to senior citizens and the cabin provided things to do for everyone! We had about 40 people attend but the cabin has alot of room to where you don't feel crowded. We will be returning to this location!
Moose Hollow was a hit with my family. The kids played with their cousins and very seldom were they on their phone (kids ranged from 10 to 18). This was a major success because spending time with family was my main goal and everyone did that. The kids said this was the best place they have been to that had up to date games they love to play. The adults stated this was the best away from home holiday they ever had and the views were breathtaking! I am beyond ecstatic to hear the good news from all of my family.
In addition to all the happy campers the place was clean and up to my standards of furniture and appliances. I felt like everything was dated to our current time vs looking and smelling over 10 years old. The only suggestion I would make is to leave at least one hair dryer on site and light up the driveway with solar lights.
The Good: Plenty of room for the whole family to spread out and enjoy themselves.
The Bad: Wish the sign was bigger and lights up with solar lights at night. Since some people came at night time it was hard for them to find the place,(note phone service may not work and the Marathon gas station did not allow my 70 year old parents to use their phone and the pay phone was not working outside of the gas station)
The Ugly: we felt we left too early and next time we will have to stay longer.
