4 Bedroom Home • 3.5 Bath • Sleeps 8 Adults

2750 sq.ft. home. Private access to beach (80 yards). Swimming is legal only 300 yards south. There is an excellent beach 2 blocks away. There is a private in-ground pool, shower and space for 2 large cars under the house. 1st floor: open floor plan, bright, spacious and airy. Large kitchen w/ island, formal dining room (seats 8), laundry room, dumb waiter, extra large deck with screened porch with ocean view. 2nd floor: 2 newly furnished master suites with private balconies (great views to the rising sun on the ocean) and 2 more rooms with an extra full bathroom. Each floor has its own A/C. Sullivan's Island, a secluded, non-commercialized island within a 20-minute drive to downtown, historic Charleston with many extraordinary restaurants. Also there are 5 restaurants 1 mile away. A 30 second walk and you're at the ocean. Take a long walk on the beach. ... Enjoy the surf or great gullies to play in; watch the pelicans, sea gulls; rent windsurfers, kayaks, boats, and kite-boards.

Extras, Outdoors: Nice, homey atmosphere. Year built: 1991. Comcast with extras; Books: fine art, sailing, local and world culture, history of low-country, South Carolina. National Geographic, southern magazines. Living room opens tho large screened porch with a panoramic view of the Atlantic. 32 Ft in-ground pool is in front of the screened porch with cool deck.

Take a long walk on the beach... Enjoy the surf or great gullies to play in; watch the pelicans, sea gulls; rent windsurfers, kayaks, boats, and kite-boards.

The short beach in front of the house is not for swimming, only for jumping in and rinsing off! Swimming beach is 300 yards away beyond the round white house.

Biking, Boating, Other Activities: Rent bikes and golf carts to explore the islands. Rent a boat to discover the famous Charleston Harbor and the Intra-coastal Waterway with its many creeks or just simply escape from the crowd: ride along with dolphins, check out the unique bird habitat of the marshes and anchor on a shell island in the middle of 'nowhere'.

  • RATES INCLUDE ALL TAX AND FEES.
    Saturday-to-Saturday rentals are preferred. If less than a week, 4 nights are a minimum within 30 days of requested stay. check-in at 3:30 PM and check-out at 10:30 AM.
    Prices and Check-in/Check-out days negotiable. 50% due prior arrival, 50% on arrival.
    Pets are welcome with a non-refundable $100 pet cleaning fee.
    Cancellation is OK if 60 days ahead of reserved date or in case of mandatory evacuation with a $200 processing fee. Otherwise, there is no refund on down payment.
    Damage / disturbance deposit: $500 will be separately charged and returned upon inspection. Required if pets, children, and noise 'because of previous problems and damage...'
    PET cleaning is $100 / pet extra.

My family and I have vacationed on Sullivan's Island for many years and this was the first time we have rented this house. The layout of the house was very accommodative and it has a modern kitchen which you don't find in some of the older beach houses on Sullivan's Island. The view of the beach and the inlet were spectacular. When you check in, make sure you get there first so you get dibs on the Master Bedroom because the view and the opening to the private porch gives you access to the best view and sea breeze on the Island. I would definitely rent this house again.

We had a fabulous stay on Sullivan's Island. The view was really amazing. We were lucky enough to stay during a full moon and we able to see the ocean and the full moon from the hot tub on the back deck. It was quite beautiful. Great family home. Close to Charleston. Owner was quite helpful.

Wonderful family home. It has all the amenities plus so much more. The pool and quiet beach are perfect for swimming and late night strolls. It's so close to Charleston you can go anytime you like.
