George & Gillian have worked in the hospitality industry since 1986 specialising in providing first class boutique bed and breakfast accommodation plus fine dining which they can now offer to house guests at Innkeepers House.
Gillian Davenport-Lang purchased this house in 1990
We brought the Blackwood Inn because of its historical pedigree being on the register of the Australian Estate, the National Trust and the Western Australian Heritage Council making it a rare survivor from the early settlement days in Western Australia. The business was expanded by adding two accommodation wings to compliment the original Inn one of which is Innkeepers House where the Innkeepers and house guests now reside.
Innkeepers House was designed and built by George & Gillian to a Victorian theme complimenting the Blackwood Inn plus with many eco friendly features which combine to provide a high level of comfort with peace and tranquility.
A holiday in a million wonderful people, marvellous surroundings, beautiful food, god bless Gillian & George for the peace of heaven on earth in the best country in the world.
