The space is actually massive by NYC standards and has 2 bedrooms, one with a Queen sized bed and the other with a full size bed, a large sofa bed in the living room. The apartment can accommodate 6 people easily and 8 if you want to use our air mattress. The kitchen is unusually opulent for NYC, top of the line convestion oven and range as well as a massive fridge. 52 inch tv for all of your TV and movie needs, HD Cable and 110mbps internet. My wife Lauren and I are both from the New York area and both live in another apartment in the same house of the unit we are renting. We both enjoying traveling, food, music and the arts. Our favorite things about NYC are the people and the food, this city is our favorite. We both work in Manhattan and in our spare time we like to make improvements to our new home :) Please ask us anything you would like to know.
Ryan Tyler purchased this apartment in 2014
This apartment was designed by Lauren and I to be our dream apartment, with top of the line appliances and finishes, I think you will enjoy your stay here. The neighborhood is the best in NYC, the best food and everything is affordable and close by. The city is a stones throw away and is the best city in the world! Well that is for you to decide but if you stay with us you will be comfortable at the very least.

Christina and her family were great, we only saw them a few times during their stay and they were always very friendly, great communication as well. They left the apartment in great shape, and clean.
This property was just as advertised on all counts, and the bathroom is even nicer than the photos. We're vacation rental veterans, and this apartment is high on our list of favorites.
We chose it for the neighborhood, which is our favorite in Astoria: quiet, but close to shops, restaurants, and the subway. My husband and I also needed enough space to host our Astoria-based adult children/spouse and granddaughter for Christmas dinner and family time over the holidays. It was a great fit, with a kitchen up to the task and comfortable living space; as basketball fans, we appreciated the nice big TV too!
Working with Ryan was easy and efficient; response time excellent. Everything was clean, everything worked (including the heat), and we slept well - lots of space to hang clothes etc. We never had a problem getting a parking space, although it's in such a walkable area that it would be feasible to stay without a car. We'll be back!
We went to NY second weekend of Sept, to catch a Jets game and Yankee game. We rented Ryan's unit as our base for three nights. It was perfect for our group which was 4 adults and a 10 year old. I really liked the neighborhood could walk to many different restaurants and stores and always felt safe. I actually liked walking around Queens more then walking around Manhattan. We had no problem finding parking close by. I have rented many condos for vacation and the one thing that stood out about this one was how well stocked it was. ( towel paper, napkins, Keurig coffee with the little shots to make coffee, sweetener, dish soap and dish washer soap etc) . On Arrival there was a basket of snacks and bottle of wine waiting for us. The owner was quick to respond to e-mails and was a pleasure to do business with.
This apartment far exceeded our expectations! Great neighborhood and location. In town with 2 buddies for us open tennis! 5 min cab ride from airport 15 min subway ride to flushing meadows where tennis is Apartment very clean and owners pay attention to details! Bottle of wine for guests, that we didn't even have time to open! Bowl with cracker jacks, granola bars, Hershey kisses, fruit snacks, etc. Also playing cards, map of Astoria and things to do! Bathroom was stocked with toiletries! very comfortable beds Nice park 5 blocks away and many places to eat within walking distance. All the homes in this area are very well maintained Ryan was very accommodating with luggage drop off and pick up I would highly recommend this apartment but I want to rent here again next year! and I don't want folks to know how nice it is! thanks Ryan
This was a lovely unit. Clean and comfortable. The bathroom was large and spacious which was very useful when several of us were trying to get ready at the same time for a wedding. The furniture and appliances were nice and new. There were no issues with parking and everything was within walking distance (grocery stores, subway, pharmacy, restaurants). The neighbourhood felt safe. Ryan was very helpful and accommodating. We would love to stay again the next time we visit NY.
A nicely furnished, clean rental unit. Quiet neighborhood. Recommended! Parking was easy to find (Labor Day weekend). Very satisfied with our stay.
The unit was clean and very comfortable. It is exactly as it appears in the photos. It is well equipped and is a short walk to all the amenities as well as to the subway. There were no issues with parking on the street. The neighbourhood felt safe. Ryan was very helpful and responded promptly to emails. We would definitely recommend this lovely unit and will contact the owners the next time we visit NY.
Astoria is the most diverse neighborhood in New York City and is one of the most diverse in the world. You can find any type of food and can easily experience the world within a few blocks. There are parks such as Astoria Park and Socrates Sculpture park and many others. There are museums such as the Museum of the Moving Image and The Noguchi Museum. Manhattan is a quick 15-20 minute subway ride which has some of the best museums in the world. This city has everything you could ever want and then some and Astoria is a nice neighborhood that gives you a break from the intensity but has all of the comforts that one would expect in a major city but with a town feeling.
