Gorgeous Condo - Brand New Carpeting - Lakes, Fountains and Pools

Our plan was to escape the February cold, foggy Ventura Coast by navigating a speedy exit to sunny Palm Desert. Misson accomplished and more! The Palm Desert Country Club complex is a thoughtfully planned visual treat that affords security, privacy, plus easy access to many local events. Water fountains, 45 pools and golf vistas abound. We were both delighted at the quiet condo location with a back patio directly on the 3rd green of the golf course.The spacious 2 bedroom property is stylishly furnished with every amenity. After settling in, we unwound by swimming in an uncrowded pool followed by a soak in the adjacent jacuzzi. The over-sized beach towels provided made our lounging in the sun even more enjoyable! After inspecting the kitchen, we opted to cook "at home". The utensils, BBQ and ample service ware made meal planning simple. A quick trip to nearby Bristol Farms and Ralph's grocery markets produced all of the ingredients for decadent feasts. After our dinners, we fired up the outdoor heater to savor drinks on the back patio. Comfortable beds invited multiple late sleep in mornings. After K-Cup coffee machine samplings (which were delicious), we toured the scenic grounds with a 4 mile walk, while admiring the artful landscaping and beautiful fountains. Lunch at Pepe's, a local authentic Mexican restaurant, was ample and satisfying. Both of us marveled at the depth of events in this area including the Tour De Palm Springs Bike Ride and the Palm Springs Half Marathon held during our stay. Although we didn't use the fitness center this time, the variety of classes and equipment are impressive. Regrettably, we headed back to the foggy Coast much too soon, but are planning to return to this outstanding property in June for more exploration!
