Brooklyn’s the best!
I'm a friendly southern man that has been transplanted in NYC. I have built my life on the simple philosophy of treating people the way that I would want to be treated.
I have had the fortune to travel extensively and have a firm understanding of the life of international voyager. One of my most important life lesson came while traveling in India which taught me gratitude.
By nature, I'm very easy going and extremely open minded, but I built a career on being anal retentive...go figure.
I hope to have the opportunity to be a part of your NYC experience.
Rick S purchased this apartment in 2007
Some great things about my apartment offering. It's conveniently located with easy access to all NYC attractions. You will have a separate space in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
My favorite thing about my property is the mix of traditional and modern.
The apartment was clean, sunny, comfortable. Property owner was friendly and helpful. Restaurants, take out and groceries easy walking distance. Convenient to public transportation. Great base for a trip to the city if you need a little space.
Rick was the perfect host. The apartment was welcoming, everything clean and smelling fresh. I loved that there were fresh flowers in the foyer and on the table, as well as fresh fruit in the fridge.
I recommend it as a great place to stay in Brooklyn.
The property was beautifully updated with a clean, open space. The hosts were delightful people with lots of helpful information about the city! Highly recommend!!
The information provided before our arrival was very useful and Rick kept in touch with us to ensure that he was there to greet us when we arrived. A beautiful arrangement of roses and lilies greeted us at the tops of the stairs and the apartment was immaculately clean with plenty of linen, crockery etc. The listing description was exactly as we found it and it was lovely to be able to go to the local grocery store and come back and have a home cooked meal after several weeks of travelling around. The internet connection was excellent and much appreciated by the children and the location of the metro convenient. Thank you Rick for everything:-)
The apartment was exactly like the pictures on the site, and immaculately clean. It is well equipped with dishes, cooking tools and linen. It is also very close to the subway line that goes into Manhattan, which was very convenient for touring the city. The owner was very welcoming, and we would definitely recommend the apartment to a friend.
All the information including the pictures accurately reflect the reality. We stayed there for two weeks in July 14. The apartment is fully furnished, well equipped and clean. Rick was friendly and welcoming and gave us a lot of helpful information. Because he was usually in his store during the day, it was easy to approach him whenever we had a question.
We enjoyed returning to a calm and friendly neighborhood after long days in the city.
The apartment is less than five walking minutes away from the Express A-line. The staircase to the first (European) / second (American) floor is steep and might be an obstacle for someone having difficulties with climbing stairs. For anyone else we can warmly recommend this apartment.
