2 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, sleeps 7 to 9, 1 car garage

This comfortable 1940's cottage was totally renovated in 2008. It is all new and updated with a nice,fully furnished kitchen. There are comfortable seating in the living room while watching a 46' flat screen TV that includes cable and a DVD player. There is free WiFi for your use while visiting. The large covered back deck offers seating and a dining table for your pleasure, along with a gas grill. The home is near the Historic East End District where you will find wonderful Victorian homes and tree sculptures from trees damaged by Hurricane IKE. We are within walking distance to the Seawall,beaches and the Pleasure Pier. We are also located less than a mile to the Historic Strand District and Port. There you will find live theater, shopping and many wonderful restaurants. If you prefer a water park, we are about 5 miles from Schlitterbahn, and Moody Gardens. Bishop's Palace and the Moody Mansion are also close by, two fabulous turn of the century family homes open for guided tours.

Check in is 4pm, check out is 11am please. Always check with me because check in or check out can be earlier or later!!

Pets, small, are always welcome

Winter Texans are most welcome.

Neighborhood home behind the seawall, walking distance to beach and 3 restaurants. Enjoy the proximity to the beach without the traffic noise on the seawall. Five minutes to the Strand, Moody Gardens, Schlitterbahn, East Beach and all the wonderful attractions Galveston has to offer. Convenient location to all attractions, restaurants, theater and beach. This adorable cottage is also located in the San Jacinto Historic District. The home is fully furnished with wonderful linens for the beds and plenty of towels and pillows. There is a kingsize bed upstairs, a queensize bed downstairs, along with 2 convertible full size sofa's and a twin rollaway bed. The home offers a wonderful sitting room off the living room for reading or visiting. The large covered back deck offers a gas grill, and a dining table for your pleasure.There is cable tv, a DVD player and free WiFi in the home. You will also find coupons for discounts at many of the attractions on the Island.

We had a great time. The Location is great! Not too far from the strand or sea wall. The house had everything we needed: dishes, towels, grill, beach extras, and washing machine. All the little things made this a great place. Hope to return soon.

This was our first time renting a vacation home instead of staying at a hotel, and we loved it! We were in a big group, so this allowed all of us to stay together in a relaxed environment without having to worry about bothering those around us. Not to mention that it was way cheaper than 2 hotel rooms. The house is cute and very close to the beach, shops, and restaurants. We were very pleased to find that the kitchen was fully stocked with all kinds of equipment for us to cook along with the grill. One thing that isn't mentioned on here that was a pleasant surprise is that the house does have wifi. Also the house isn't exactly pet friendly. We ended up bringing our 2 small dogs and they were miserable because the spiral stairs is dangerous for them so they always had to be on a leash. Everything else was just WONDERFUL! We're actually planning to come back and stay here again.
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers
