So close to everything, yet so far away from all the noise and traffic

If you are visiting the Knoxville area but want a quiet wooded area overlooking the grazing horses with your morning coffee, look no further! The site's pictures show how intimate and private this hidden gem is on the inside, but the real treasure awaits outside. While only minutes from downtown Knoxville, University of Tennessee, UT Medical Center, the airport and more, you're away from the traffic, crowds and hassle of the city. Don't let the reasonable rates fool you.
For less than what you'll spend for cold coffee in the lobby of a busy motel, you can sip your morning coffee or have an early evening beverage while overlooking the "landscaped by Mother Nature" garden, abundant birds in the surrounding trees and overlooking the horses grazing in nearby fields. Also, the sloping field in front of the apartment offers a couple acres of open grassy and wooded space for obedient pets to run and enjoy all the natural surroundings.
As if this wasn't enough, Rhonda & Jim were attentive and concerned hosts who insure that you have everything you need while not being obtrusive or underfoot. They were friendly, helpful and willing to offer good suggestions on places to eat & visit along with relaxed and pleasant conversation. There's even LOTS of firewood if you want to enjoy the fireplace.
If you enjoy the interstate interchange "cookie cutter" motels, highway noise, busy streets and no green in sight except signs in shopping malls, this is not your place. However, if you want much more space, quiet surroundings and a country setting within minutes of downtown Knoxville and reasonable rates, this IS the place.
We are considering a move to the Knoxville area within the next couple of years and we hope to return to this hidden treasure during each of our visits to learn more about the area and find our own dream home. I almost hate to tell others what a great place this is--for fear that others will find this hidden gem and we'd have to go elsewhere. However, I'd really appreciate someone letting me know about this so I didn't miss all this has to offer.
Give it a try and you'll agree!
