Green Valley Lake Escape
The “Hidden Gem” of the San Bernardino Mountains, Green Valley Lake is, at 7000´, a higher resort community than either Lake Arrowhead or Big Bear. This “best kept secret on the mountain” is secluded (nearly four miles away from State Highway 18), and surrounded by National Forest. For all these reasons it has remained small, picturesque, and uncrowded.
Green Valley Lake is a lively small town. It boasts of a pretty little lake that is stocked often with plentiful fish, and a small beach for swimming
The Green Valley Lake Escape Cabin is loaded with all the features of your dream mountain home and has 3 Bedrooms and 1.5 Baths.
Our family owns the cabin and visits often. We've decided to share the use of our cabin and invite you to enjoy our wonderful escape.
Green Valley Lake
One thing that cannot be said about Green Valley Lake is that there is nothing to do here. We may not have mega-shoppertainment malls, but we do have plenty of fishing, boating, swimming, and hiking. At our Sports Court we have volleyball, basketball, tennis, & badminton. There are barbecue facilities in the picnic area. We have a 40-space Forest Service campground and a museum full of fascinating artifacts. Local musicians get together for jams every month at the Lake Inn. There are three Artisan Tours throughout the year where folks can check out what the local artists have been busily creating. In the summer there's a 4th of July Family Fun Day ; Barbecue, and on Labor Day weekend a Water Carnival. Green Valley Lake packs a whole lot of family fun into a small place

We are a professional couple that during the week we live in Long Beach, CA. We enjoy doing many activities together; running, biking, skiing and entertaining with our friends. These are activities that we do both in Long Beach and in Green Valley Lake.
We fell in love with Green Valley Lake the day we drove up the hill and met the warm and friendly people who live there year round.
It is a quiet relaxing place with beauty year round.
To make it a more perfect, it is only 90 minutes from Long Beach to Green Valley Lake. Then we are just a few minutes from Running Springs, Big Bear and Arrowhead.
Our cabin is a 10 minute walk or 2 minutes drive to the lake and town. Or for a walk in the wilderness it is just one step from the hiking trails that provide views of Lake Arrowhead or the Lucerne Valley.
At night we sit on the front porch and look at the stars while we sip wine and enjoy the company of our friends. In the morning we take our dog on a brisk run or a picturesque walk around the lake.
There are trails for street legal vehicles or mountain bikes or just walking.
If you like milk shakes The Malt Shop is just the place to get one.
