Aloha Hawaiian Hospitality: Aloha in its generic term is often translated as hello, goodbye, and love. In Old Hawaii, aloha had a deeper meaning. The word breaks down into 'alo' meaning 'in the presence of' or 'to share' and 'ha' is the 'breath' which is the life energy, by Native Hawaiian terms it is a sacred word, which means, 'Sharing the Breath of Life.' The Aloha Spirit is a spirit of harmony, affection, and mutual respect and is reflected in the way we interact and treat others. Experience the essence of the the true Hawaiian Hospitality where 'Aloha' is not just hello or good bye. Here Aloha is a gift from the heart.
Birds, Bees and Bounty: If you sit on the lanai of Kohala's Guest House you will be entertained by the variety of birds that land and sing in the citrus trees that grow in the front yard. Oranges, Lemons, Limes, and Guava and Passion fruit when in season seem
