Access to private beach club with lazy river, infinity pool, kids pool, fitness center, movies, bar and restaurant with all kinds of fun events for adults and children such as family crabbing, arts and crafts, firepit socials and much more. Our cottage is located beachside only a few steps from the beach. Beautifully landscaped within the cottages section of the Pointe West resort on the west end of the island this is the perfect location for a fun, relaxed and safe family vacation. Pointe West offers a perfectly groomed and manicured private beach with no disturbing vehicles. Escape the crowds and relax on the wide beach strip watching a great variety of birds or collect some shells. Enjoy beach fishing (license required) or fly your kites in the cool Gulf breeze.

The city of Galveston is just a short ride away and offers tons of attractions for young and old such as the Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier with amazing rides and fun for all ages, Schlitterbahn Water park, Moody Gardens Pyramides with an aquarium, rain forest, a 3D and a 4D movie theatre, a huge outdoor pool area with sand beaches and fun water features. There's a ton of restaurants and bars for all ages, museums and historical places. The Strand is beautifully restored street with all kinds of stores and dining options. You'll enjoy it!

Why Timo chose Galveston

Initially intended to be our weekend house our jobs took us to a different state. We decided to share our memories with the beautiful Pointe West resort and our beach house with our guests and hope you enjoy your stay at 'The Good Life'.

What makes this cottage unique

You'll have water views from every window in the house and enjoy the fabulous weather on Galveston island. The wide, private beaches are just a few steps away. The beach club can easily be reached walking using the hike trail (15 minutes) or by car (2 minutes). You'll enjoy owner parking privileges (covered, with an elevator to access the pool area). In the evening you can enjoy the warm breeze while using the provided charcoal BBQ on the patio together with a beer or dine at one of the 2 restaurants at the beach club. There are several restaurants close by or you can enjoy a huge variety of dining options in Galveston, go to the movies or enjoy a show at the Grand Opera. For those who like to club there's a vivid nightlife scene in Galveston as well.

Great time at Pointe West!

My sister and I took all of our kids to the beach for the week. The beach house is very comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. It is very easy to get to the beach and the kids enjoyed some great cousin bonding time. We really enjoyed the Beach Club and the Pina Coladas. I highly recommend this house. Great location! Nice beach--not crowded at all.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Best Vacation Ever and the cottage was perfect

We had a wonderful time in Galveston and the cottage was amazing. We had a mother dove nested in the palm tree right outside our door and my girls got to see the babies hatch. There was so much peace and tranquility there and the club house is BEAUTIFUL!!! And everyone was so friendly. We are definitely going back.

My friends and I had a great time at this little cottage in Pointe West. The beach is steps away & the community is friendly & safe. The cottage is warm & accommodating and rivals that of a 5 star hotel. Will definitely book this location next time we visit Galveston.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Access to the beach was just a short walk away. Our family loved the pool and lazy river. Very cozy home and great community to stay at.
