We love the Gatlinburg area and the Smoky Mountains. We also own 4 other log cabin rental properties in Pigeon Forge.
Mike Hrib purchased this cabin in 2004
We looked at several locations in the mountains and this property offered a great view with easy access to the cabins even in winter conditions. In addition, it is located just minutes from anything that you want to do in Pigeon forge but still offers privacy and seclusion from the main traffic.
I wanted to let you know just left Lee's log cabin. We had such a wonderful time and wish we could have stayed longer!
Your cabin is the cleanest cabin I have ever been in and we were so impressed that it was equipped with absolutely everything we could need!
Thank you for letting us stay. We will definitely be back and recommend your cabins to all of friends! "
Cabin was very clean with very attractive decor! We visited during a snow/ice storm so the first two night we did not have water due to pipe issues, but owner was very pleasant and communicated and fixed our issues in a timely manner! The only issue we had was the upstairs which is the second bedroom is a loft bedroom that stays very hot if the fireplace or heat is used. Altogether our experience was fun and we would def. consider staying at this cabin again when the weather isnt as bad! :)
Cabin was very clean and well represented by the description online as well as the pictures that were presented. Minor issue was addressed and the owners were very open and communicated well. Loved every minute of our much needed get away. Will look to book this cabin again in the future.
My husband and I planned a weekend away and Lees Cabin was perfect for this! It was decorated for fall which made it feel very cozy and welcoming. When we arrived I instantly noticed how clean and well-kept it was with beautiful scenery. It was close enough to things to not have to travel very far but secluded enough for privacy for both of us to enjoy our get away. We experienced a couple of issues while we were there that were totally out of Ginger and Jimmy's hands but they were very responsive to our needs and made things right. If you are looking for a nice place to stay, this is definitely it. My husband and I have decided that we're going to make this a yearly trip and I know that we'll definitely consider staying in one of their cabins again.
My husband and I enjoyed staying at this lovely cabin in the Smokies in the Pigeon Forge area. It was very clean and inviting with the fall home decor. We always like to go to the Smokies for the fall foliage. It was equipped with all the necessities of home. We ate out as well as enjoying cooking in the kitchen for a nice quiet evening around the cabin. Jimmy and Ginger, the owners, were very nice and always available and helpful for any questions about the cabin or the area. We were very pleased with its location and already making arrangements to stay again in the Spring.
This cabin was the greatest!! Just like the photos, and very clean. It is fully stocked with everything you would need, just bring food. Ginger was so nice and made me feel very comfortable with everything. The view from the hot tub on the deck was fantastic. Close to everything but you felt like a hundred miles from anyone. We had a great time. Did I mention it was very CLEAN!!!!!
With the majestic Smoky Mountains as a backdrop even a ramshackle lean-to with a poly tarp for a roof would be sufficient. But for many – as with my family – a getaway should feature a bit more. And more is exactly what you get from a stay at Lee’s Cabin.
My wife, toddler daughter, and I have been blessed to be guests at the cabin this week. Our initial interaction with the owner was a very comfortable one and the hospitality was consistent and appreciated. Ginger is beyond a cabin owner. She is a hostess with the absolute ‘mostess’ and is a huge practitioner of customer service and care.
Upon arrival we were greeted with a fall display just off the porch complete with straw bales, a scarecrow, and some pumpkins. What a way to say “hello!” Once in the cabin the greeting continued with a beautiful autumn hearth display and autumn smells. Now this being our 9th or 10th cabin rental in the mountains we are beyond being impressed simply by black bear statues, oversized furniture, antler lamps, and folksy signage. We want a bit more creature comfort. We found that with a flat screen TV in the living area, a pool table, a flat screen in the master bedroom (in viewing range of both the fireplace and the jet tub), washer/dryer, a well stocked kitchen (minus the food, of course, but with things like a blender, knife block, and fiestaware-like dishes), ceiling fans to circulate, a hot tub on the back deck (with amazing views!) and – most importantly for our device happy family – fast and reliable WiFi (13.35 Mbps download and 2.41 Mbps upload).
I would like to say our first few hours were spent admiring the view and the seclusion of the cabin itself. Alas, it was not. Instead we took turns (one-at-the-time for maximum enjoyment) soaking in the jet tub and watching television. For a family-on-the-go, it was a rather great way to start our time. Afterwards we took in the sweeping views on the back porch while rocking away in 1 of 3 wooden, rocking chairs. With a hot cup of coffee, no forced conversation, and the crisp air...well, you can’t book time like that!
Other standouts of Lee’s Cabin for us were the comfortable beds (one downstairs and one upstairs) and cozy sheet sets, EXCELLENT water pressure in both showers (one upstairs and one downstairs), a grill/smoker on the back deck, a breakfast bar/countertop to enjoy afternoon hors d'oeuvres on, maps and menus of the area, and a prime parking spot just at the front porch entrance!
