We had the most amazing time! I can't tell you what a joy it was to be in your beautiful home, surrounded by such an enchanting environment. We enjoyed every second- even curling up in all of your snuggly blankets to watch a movie, at the end of our full days (we all kept talking about how soft everything was, the furniture, the carpet, and all of those fabulous throws- now, I need to go shopping). The house was so comfortable, and we felt at home right away. You did such a great job anticipating what we might need, and I appreciated the thought that went into your preparing your home for your guests. By the way, my kids adored the fluffy sectionals downstairs.
The set up was perfect for our family. I loved having a bit of privacy from our little ones, especially early in the morning, when we still wanted to sleep in a bit. The laundry/mud room was a great way to enter from the garage, especially after a long day for my boys at camp, or a long hike on one of the fabulous Connestee Trails. The house stayed nice and cold, even when the temperature hit 90+ degrees, and the water pressure and temperature were perfect. I loved your master bath. It is so nice to take a relaxing bath, after a full day with my three boys, especially in such a fabulous spa-like tub!
We greatly appreciate all of the outdoor tools and "toys". We spent a lot of time at the doc and lake. Harrison (age 9), the middle child, was quite the fisherman. He caught two nice sized fish- off to the left side in the shady are by the trees. The funny thing was, he even caught one when he was practicing with the rod- on a hook with NO bait. We had picked up some red worms from that Buck and Bass store, and the fish loved them. We did catch and release, as my husband had already left, and I have NO idea how to clean a fish. I will have to learn before our next trip. Thank you for supplying the tackle box. I have never been in charge of that part of the job, so I was thankful you any and everything I could need to help me along!
We also had a wonderful time in the canoe- I hadn't been in a canoe since I was a kid, but I picked it up right away, and off we went out to the middle of the lake. It was absolutely wonderful... except for the 95* that it happened to be that day... and, it didn't help that I took us out at 1:00- right in the heat of the day. We live and learn, but I have nothing negative to say about how glorious it was to be right in the middle of one of the most beautiful areas in the
