We stayed there for 2 weeks in June and it was amazing! The house is big, has a lot of space and is very clean! You have the masterbedroom with a perfect privat bathroom and 2 other bedrooms with a bathroom together. The kitchen is big, new, and clean. Has everything from icemaschine to dishwasher. Even a washing-maschine an a dryer is there. You park in the garage save, but was is safe on marco island? Criminality dont exist at all!!! Very very nice is the pool, the poolarea with a barbeque-grill and the hot-tube!! Also the view seeing the sun going down is amazing. You cannot make a mistake renting this jewel!!!
My family and I stayed at this home during our spring break 2014. We have been renting homes here for years and have always returned. This house was very clean and efficient and we enjoyed the small pool and spa. We noticed that the blinds in the living room were not working correctly and we decided to leave the large wall of windows exposed and not pull blinds across and back daily because of this. We enjoyed looking out the window anyway so it didn't bother us. (In the website photos there are no blinds in the living room) We had a wonderful week enjoying all Marco has to offer and enjoyed returning to our favorite places like Tiger Tail and The Esplanade. Overall, a very enjoyable week once again and we will return, just NOT to this house. After we got back home, we awaited our refundable security deposit. It never came. After I called repeatedly and got nowhere, I finally was told that the livingroom blinds were broken during our stay but were fine before we occupied the house. We were never, ever notified of this until I called to ask why our security deposit wasn't refunded. To make matters worse, I emailed the owner and never got a response. We finally heard from the management company that the owners said the blinds were " broken" and they were making the necessary repairs which cost half of the security deposit. We have yet to receive anything back nor have we heard from the owners. We are very meticulous people and treat the homes we rent as our own. We left this home in excellent condition and went above and beyond the departing procedures, stripping the beds, doing all the towels folding and replacing them all. We even left extra toilet paper and tissue boxes etc that we purchased as we know it's appreciated by the next renters. We were insulted to be told we broke the blinds and were never, ever told this until I started asking questions. My suspicion is that "security deposit" means "maintenance fund" and the money is kept to fix/maintain/replace old items in the house and we were the ones who paid as it was time to fix/replace the old blinds. My advice if you would like to rent this home is to inspect EVERYTHING once you take occupancy and notify the owners IMMEDIATELY if there is a problem. We were very surprised by the handling of the issue and disappointed by the unprofessionalism of the owners.
We stayed at this home for a week in Feburary 2013. The home was clean, the pool was warm and everthign worked good at the home. The west facing views were excellent. I would rent this place again and would reccomend to anyone lookig nfor a rental on Marco Island
My wife and I stayed here January through February, 2012. We have been going to Marco for several years, and this is by far the nicest house we have rented. The pictures accurately represent the home. It is exceptionally clean, well maintained, and comfortable. Our dealings with the owner were friendly with quick responses. We enjoyed the home very much, and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to visit Marco Island.
This beautiful waterfront home with western exposure is located in a nice and quiet area of Marco Island. A supermarket, restaurants and other shops are just a few minutes away and easy to reach by car.
The property was very clean, well maintained, beautifully furnished and equipped with all amenities you can imagine (i.e. beach chairs, ice cooler, new/clean gas grill, towels, hot tub, etc.). Especially the kitchen has really everything you need for a nice and relaxing holiday.
If you want to rent a boat, there is also boat dock available.
The key pick-up upon arrival and the drop-off at departure was easy and without any problems. The staff in the rental company office is friendly and helpful.
We really enjoyed a very nice holiday on Marco Island in this home and we would definitely recommend it to our friends and family!
The house on Marco Island was clean, spacious, beautiful and dealing with the owner and rental company were all very satisfactory. We flew in from Indiana, had never been to Marco, and were a little nervous about renting directly from a homeowner, but this was the best vacation we've had in a long time. Some things we definitely loved were the pool, the heated hot tub, and the large size and resort-type feel of the master suite. We have two young kids and we were able to let them swim all day and then give them showers in the large walk-in shower easily. The ability to slide open an entire wall of patio windows from the living room to the pool area was very nice as well. The neighborhood was very quiet and within walking distance to a grocery store and pharmacy.
The only thing I'd caution with younger kids, this house is very nice with tile flooring and glass-top furniture, so we were nervous about the kids slipping on the floor with wet feet, and also running into the living room furniture and breaking something, or injuring themselves. Other than that, if you've got older kids or if it's adults, this is hands down a no-brainer. Our four year old daughter still talks about this house regularly and insists that we return next year!
