Growing up in Austin when it was just a small city, the countryside was just minutes away. Then came Austin sprawl, and crazy traffic! We purchased the land outside Smithville in 2006, and slowly our little slice of heaven evolved into the Rocking M Ranch. These days the property is shared with visitors from all over, along with 5 lazy cats, 2 dogs, and 4 hens. They let me hang around as long as the food bowls are full!
