Local attractions.:
The Florida Keys are primarily about Fishing, Diving, (Scuba or snorkelling), Eating and Boating, however there are many diversions within a short drive. Swim with dolphins at Theatre of the Sea, visit the Everglades, feed the giant Tarpon (200 lbs) Further afield, visit Miami or Key West, or preferably just lie around and take in the visual splendour of these unique islands.
Restaurants:
This area boasts some of the finest restaurants anywhere and lots of them, certainly you could eat out every night for a year and not visit the same one twice. Islamorada has it all and more.
Nightlife:
Islamorada's repuation as a party venue was built on the unique American concept of 'Spring Break' when hordes of college kids would descend on the area around Easter and, well, party. Fortunately this practice has largely died out nowadays, but nobody told the locals, who are still given to staying up till dawn in the numerous local bars, listening to live music of surprising high quality and thinking up good excuses why they should not work the next day.
