Villa Venetian Shores is a fabulous 4 bedroom/ 3 bath waterfront property. It is located in Venetian Shores. Venetian Shores is the most prestigious sub-division of Islamorada. Islamorada is also known as the sport fishing capital of the world. It is located midway between Miami and Key West. Villa Venetian Shores is situated in landscaped gardens that overlook a saltwater boating lagoon. It is only minutes from the open waters of the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean. Villa Venetian Shores is furnished and equipped to the highest standards including: three cable TVs (one giant wide screen TV), VCR, DVD, high-speed Internet access, dual zone a/c and central heating, screened terrace, swimming platform, 2 garages, coconuts, bouganvillia, hibiscus, lime trees, kayak and paddle boat.   • Please note that a security deposit of $500 will be required in cleared funds prior to confirmation of rental.
    The security deposit will be returned within 28 days of your departure subject to any deductions for damage, telephone and pay per view charges. The property will be cleaned and linen laundered prior to your arrival, should you require extra cleaning during your stay this can be arranged locally at extra cost.
  • The rates detailed above are for the whole house for one week only, obviously we prefer longer rentals, therefore we can offer reduced terms for stays in excess of one week. Stay for a week, stay for a month. Email for details!
  • Potential renters should note that the canal out back of the house does not give access to the Ocean or Bay. The canal is 'plugged', that is closed off to boat traffic. The canal however does offer, security, privacy, tranquility, swimming, canoeing, paddle boating, surprisingly good fishing (Cobia, Tarpon, Snapper) and teeming bird life.

Notes: Family bedroom is the ground floor guest suite which contains 2 queen size sofa beds. Swim in the lagoon. The main living area is on the first floor and only accessible by stairs so 'may' not suit the elderly or infirm, however the guest suite is on the ground floor and is accessible to those guests who may use a wheel chair. Regretably we do not welcome pets, however for animal lovers the area teems with wildlife, in fact the local herons share our deck, eagles and pelicans fish in the lagoon,come to that so do we.

Local attractions.: The Florida Keys are primarily about Fishing, Diving, (Scuba or snorkelling), Eating and Boating, however there are many diversions within a short drive. Swim with dolphins at Theatre of the Sea, visit the Everglades, feed the giant Tarpon (200 lbs) Further afield, visit Miami or Key West, or preferably just lie around and take in the visual splendour of these unique islands.

Restaurants: This area boasts some of the finest restaurants anywhere and lots of them, certainly you could eat out every night for a year and not visit the same one twice. Islamorada has it all and more.

Nightlife: Islamorada's repuation as a party venue was built on the unique American concept of 'Spring Break' when hordes of college kids would descend on the area around Easter and, well, party. Fortunately this practice has largely died out nowadays, but nobody told the locals, who are still given to staying up till dawn in the numerous local bars, listening to live music of surprising high quality and thinking up good excuses why they should not work the next day.

The accommodation was first class, a proper home from home everything you need and more when you are away from home, there is always something you forget when you go on holiday, no need to worry, EVERYTHING IS HERE. The location was very central to what we were looking for, we went fishing most days and enjoyed the barbeque in the evenings and the comfort of both verandas when relaxing after scoffing our catches.
I would recommend this lovely Villa to anyone whether it be family or friends, we were 5 adult males on a fishing vacation and there was ample space for all of us not to bump into one another when we needed our personal space. The owners were lovely people to speak to and there were no complications prior during or after our stay.

Although we stayed 2 years ago, it was absolutely perfect. Peter is a 100% genuine guy that is reliable and trustworthy, and the house is out of this world.
Its set perfectly to see all parts of the Keys and is surrounded by excellent resteraunts.
To sit on an evening on the balcany is so relaxing listening to the wildlife and seeing the fish jumping, Its tropical paradise. You really do feel like a millionaire.
Hope to come back soon.

Everything you could possibly need!

The home was spacious, well appointed, and very clean. My family of 4 (twin 13 yr old boys) felt right at home with having 4 nice bicycles for our use to explore the area. Even better were the 2 kayaks available for our use in the canal behind the house! Founders Park located about 2 miles away has a fantastic white sand beach, 2 baseball fields, soccer fields, a skatepark and daily organized family activities. Every ammenity you could need was available for our comfort. Peter and Nancy were very accomadating and extremely helpful in making our vacation a wonderful family trip we will always remember!
